Renegade Roasters — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I don’t usually write reviews, but my recent experience at this coffee roaster shop definitely warrants one. I recently bought a high-end coffee machine and was uncertain about which beans and bag size to choose. That’s when I had the pleasure of speaking with Bec, one of the co-owners. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the different options, offering invaluable advice on how to make the most of my new machine. Her guidance was focused on ensuring that my home brewing experience would be top-notch, which I really appreciated.

The shop itself is a gem, and it’s especially worth visiting on a hot 36-degree day. I had a good laugh at their creative way of keeping cool in the shed – it’s clear they have a great sense of humor and a welcoming atmosphere. I love Renegade Roasters! You know when you go to a reliable cafe with your faithful barista who makes a brilliant coffee, then they leave or they’re away and it’s just not the same? In the 2 years I’ve been going to renegade roasters, this has literally never happened to me because their coffees are consistently top notch. I have never, ever had a “bad coffee” ever from them - I can’t decide if it’s their delicious beans (which I also get bulk for my plunger and can confirm are also 10/10), their amazing friendly baristas Bec and Rhys, or the coffee machine itself, or a combination of all 3. Whatever it is, Renegade Roasters is absolutely worth the visit. I’m almost loathe to write this review because I want to keep it my little secret despite its popularity....

This has to be one of my best finds of the year. This little coffee shop is bringing a quality product and service against the bigger competitors (Merlo and Zarraffas) I am so glad that the PA Hospital has such awful coffee and Starbucks was dreadful, that I gave Renegade a go. Great service with a smile, regardless of the time of day and happy to answer questions about all the products they have on offer. I get beans for my machine and a coffee for the drive home. What more could I ask for!!
