Moorooka Motel — Hotel in Brisbane City

If you can deal with a ridiculously busy loud main road all day and night, semi's, a motorbike yard doing their 7am start ups every morning then its all yours... Its romantically placed in an industrial area.. My main concern that affected my sleep, attitude and any ability to try and relax was what seems like an obsession of some kind..Someone screaming abuse and dragging furniture or objects around at 3/4am.. I noticed another reviewer saying the same thing and that was last year.. I stayed for over a week, and it is a regular occurrence..The staff either don't know which I find hard to believe or turn a blind eye.. If you can't handle constant noise, then I would avoid it. OH and a nice punished ute with the bonnet up parked in full view of the main...

Which I found this place sooner! Clean and well maintained rooms, with good free WiFi too! I found the beds to be comfy enough, the tv was a good size, and the undercover carpark is great. There are many security cameras covering the premises, which took the worry away of parking my car near a busy road. The road noise when the windows are shut is easy to tune out, others may not feel the same way. TLDR:

Clean & Tidy. Undercover Carpark Free WiFi (I was watching a lot of 720p and 1080p YouTube without drama). Easy check-in at reception. Good location, shops are under a 5 minute walk up the street. Microwave in room (No plates or cutlery however).

The outside didn't really impress on arrival. But staff were great, friendly and helpful. Undercover parking available, great in storm season. The room/bathroom was clean and freshly up dated, though air conditioner did struggle with high temperatures. Position was excellent, walking distance to tennis and trains. Close to multiple food outlets. Thanks to double glazed windows, road noise wasn't an issue.||Overall I would definitely stay again.
