Was really excited that Ria is in Brisbane as I just moved back after living in melb and syd. Ordered on the app. Nasi kapau, Ayam penyet sambal balado, extra tempe, extra soto betawi, extra keremesan, Es kelapa and a coke. Was even considering some kuih dadar and onde-onde for dessert. On the snack menu, the rissole said it came with side sambal so we thought it's be a nice entree. Bro came by with rissoles in a takeaway container asking if we wanted it heated up...... I said "of course, plated up". Lady came after and just served the heated up container of rissoles without any sauce on it. When I asked if it came with sambal as what was advertised on the menu she just said no. I rejected it as the rissoles just looked unappetising, pale and abit sad in the container box especially without any sauce. Partner said there was too much batter and he couldn't taste the chicken but was still alright. Rendang was alright but the meat was a bit tough and stringy. Also had to pay 50c extra for a glass of ice on the $4 can of coke. ... Despite how much I like the ria franchise i don't know if I want to come back. May be hesitant bringing friends over to this establishment which I used to advocate for in syd and melb. :( I think the workers need to have better customer service and the inconsistency in the menu and service needs to be addressed. I am only bothered leaving this review because I hope the business can do better as there is so much potential.

This place server one of the best Indonesian cuisine in Brisbane. The ambience was great inside. The food can be order via the app and the service was quick. Ordered the Nasi Rendang and it was delicious. The beef was soo well cooked and was very soft. It was literally melting in the mouth. Also ordered a baked soup for the side and that was also tasting very authentic Indonesian. Ordered a es bandung which is a rose milk drink which was very soothing for the hot and humid climate here in Brisbane. There aren’t many tables at this place, so would recommend to book in if they allow for bookings or planning to go with a larger group. The service was also very nice and really felt welcoming and hospitable. Also to mention is that the rates for the food here is cheap compared to other places and they do not comprise on quantity and quality. Definitely recommend this place to bachelors, family , large groups etc. Great work team, keep up the great work!!👍🏽👍🏽

Finally glad there is a decent Indonesian restaurant here in Brisbane!!! I've tried ayam penyet in Melbourne and it was absolutely amazing! Like best Indonesian! And I got told by one of my Melbourne friends they were setting up shop in Brisbane! Woohoo... first time coming it's very busy and packed so if you plan on going I'd say try and book ahead! I went at about 2pm on a Sunday arvo so managed to get a seat instantly. I ordered the ayam penyet, a side of rice and a side of soto betawi soup. What a great meal! Firstly they only serve thigh/leg part of the chicken (which is great, other indo restaurants I've been to you have to specify which part you want) the fried tofu was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The soto betawi was a little on the salty side if you have it alone but if you have it with rice it's great. Will definitely be coming back to try some other dishes!

I recently dined at Ria, and it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an incredible meal.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Iga Bakar. This grilled beef rib dish was nothing short of perfection. The ribs were marinated to perfection, infused with a rich blend of spices that brought out the natural flavors of the meat. Each bite was tender and succulent, with a delightful char that added depth to the dish. Served alongside medium green sambal and aromatic rice, the Iga Bakar was a true culinary masterpiece that I can’t recommend highly enough.

What truly elevated my dining experience was the exceptional service. The staff at Ria were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their food. They took the time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations, ensuring that I felt right at home. It was clear that they were committed to providing an outstanding experience for every guest.

In addition to the Iga Bakar, the menu boasts a variety of other traditional Indonesian dishes, all crafted with care and authenticity. Each dish I tried was bursting with flavor, making it hard to choose a favorite.

If you're looking for a restaurant that offers incredible food paired with amazing service, Ria in Runcorn is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and try more from their extensive menu. This place is a true...

Best Iga bakar in Brissy but really confusing ordering system😠!! Love the food and atmosphere but I feel like the ordering process could be improved.. THE ORDERING SYSTEM IS REALLY CONFUSING AND A HASSLE!! My partner wanted to try the Nasi Kapau and I wanted the Bakar Set. The staff told us that he needs to order the Nasi Kapau at the counter because it's not available on the online ordering apps. So, we decided to order both our meals at the counter because it seems like a hassle to order on seperate platforms. When we ordered at the counter, the staff didn't tell me that I can't order the Bakar Set at the counter and assumed I wanted the Iga Bakar plus add on rice, not the Bakar set which included rice, soup, and a drink for the same price. When our order came later on, I was surprised that I only received the Iga Bakar plus add on rice, not the Bakar set that I wanted. And when I asked the staff that served our food for my soup, because again, I assumed I ordered the Bakar set, he said "Ohh you didn't order the Bakar set because you can only order that on the online ordering apps.." So, in my opinion, could you please clarify with customers further and explain the confusing ordering system clearly. Or better yet, just make all the items available on the online ordering apps and have the same menu options available to order at the counter. It's so confusing and makes ordering super...
