Salt. is an amazing bar. Hayley the owner and bar tender is magnetic. Her smile, spirit and enthusiasm is addictive. The Bring Your Own Food (BYOF) concept of Salt is exciting. Ask Hayley for local restaurant recommendations which can help you choose the delicious meal you can bring back to the bar. We had burgers from Dumbos (less than a five minute walk) which we brought back to Salt and devoured. Absolutely delicious! An amazing craft beer and perfectly mixed martini topped our meal off along with a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Bring your own food from a restaurant or favorite snacks from the Supermarket which is just a cross the street. Dog friendly too. Hayley has blankets for your fur baby to lie on, water bowls and doggy treats....

Called in here with my Wife last Saturday night before dinner at a local restaurant. Haven't been to the establishment for a couple of years when it was called "Workshop 14". Stayed an hour or so, and time for a couple of drinks. Nice beer and cocktail selection. Great atmosphere, and still unique. Just one suggestion: Please, it would be nice to have a few more bar stools around the bar making it easy to meet other patrons. Especially if by yourself as I often am when going out, or having a quiet beer after work. My Wife and I sat at the bar to engage with the bar staff as we like to do. I noticed there were only two bar stools but a few more would add a little more atmosphere with customers being able to sit at the bar...
