Visited here to celebrate Melbourne Cup day with my partner as we do every single year. Unfortunately this year was the worst experience I've had here I feel like they have completely forgotten about the general public everything seemed to be catered to corporate events. I'm a bourbon drinker and found it almost impossible to get it at the majority of the bars and had to go inside to find it. when I attempted to get a second drink the line was out the door so I had a total of 1 can of drink all day. Also disappointing was the blocked views from the general public stand I have attached a picture. Could not access upstairs to get away from the weather that was also only for corporate and the middle of the general public grandstand also had a corporate section you could not enter. So very very disappointing again I say why have you forgotten about the general public which used to be the largest part of your business forsaking the regulars for the mighty dollar Will definitely think about attending a different function for next year which is such a shame because I love watching the horses run and it really makes a great atmosphere. Also I must add almost impossible to find the bookies at this event and had to use TAB all the time to place my bets. Placing your bets with the bookies is...

The ambiance of this historic venue combined with the thrill of equestrian sports created a backdrop like no other for our gathering. The staff were attentive, ensuring our event ran smoothly and all our needs were catered to. Eagle Farm Racecourse has proven to be not just a racing hotspot but also a premier venue for events. Read moreI never had a worse time on a racecourse than I had yesterday at the picnic at the races. I took my family and friends to see the fun and excitement of live horse racing well the fun part stopped at the gate's. We booked two tables of ten at thirty dollars a head and fifteen a head for two children which was fine because they got to go on the jumping castles. It wasn't until they lined up for fairy floss and a ice cone and was told they had to pay that racing lost me forever. Not to mention a cold drink at $3.80 a can. Well we will look elsewhere for our entertainment in future because I for one will...
