Upper westside deli BNE AU — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My sister Purchased the Bagel, Chips + Drink. The picture displayed/Advertised is different to the Bagel provided 😩😩 The counter 🧑‍🏭 assistant advised us he did let us know of the current bagel but as me and my sister were present at the counter and had no knowledge of this but obviously they will reply (if they do) to say otherwise 😒

We popped in at 7:30am on Saturday- the first day of school holidays.

We were served quickly and the staff were professional and personable.

The range of food was very impressive. I had trouble choosing! I had an eggs Benedict and ham roll and my beautiful wife had a sausage roll. They were prepared quickly and were exactly what you would expect from partially prepared food in a deli. They were tasty and fresh.

The coffee was good - a flat white and a vanilla cappuccino.

If $7.90 for a sausage roll isn't expensive enough, they added 11c as a credit card surcharge without asking whether I was going to use a credit card, debit card, or cash for payment. When I questioned them and told them I was using a debit card, they insisted the surcharge was for "cards", the EFTPOS display clearly identified the surcharge as a "credit card surcharge". They reluctantly removed the surcharge when I pushed them to do so....
