Smoky Pizza Woodfired — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I am not sure if those many negative reviews are justified or not. But I can truly say as a returning customer for the last 4 years, it was only today when I ordered via Uber eats and they stuffed up one pizza by putting chili instead of extra cheese on it. This was the first time in 4 years! And you know what, we are all humans and make mistakes. It just can happen. It's a matters of owning it.

I called them and 20min later we had a replacement. That's customer service.

Both pizzas (when the replacement arrived) were beautiful and tasty. I am glad that I didn't go via the Uber complaining process but contacted them directly and we worked it out between the two of us.

I'm still a happy customer with deep respect for the business and their customer service.

I also want to mention, that the toppings of their pizzas are way better than their more expensive competitors. I honestly can't understand why people give 5 stars to a pizza place that put hardly any toppings on, when you get a decent layer of goodies from Smoky.

Hands down, Smoky stays my favourite in the area of Nundah, Wavell, Kedron...

On Thursday 21st August we had friends staying from interstate, so we thought we would order a nicer pizza than say what you would get from the bigger chain stores. So we rang your Kedron store and ordered 5 Pizzas - 2 Large, 2 Regular and 1 Gluten free which the person on the phone said only comes in the regular size which was fine.

We send our 18 year old Daughter to pick them up 40 minutes later and she phones all Panicked because she only has 4 pizzas - 3 Large and 1 regular and she was advised they don't do Gluten free bases? Also charged for a large even though we only order a regular.

So we had to then send her to Dominos up the road for the Gluten free Pizza for one of our Guests which meant a 15-minute wait and 15 minutes the pizzas from your store sat in a car getting cold.

Why weren't we told when ordering you don't do Gluten free or even if the person on the phone was new, or why didn't someone from the shop call us back to advise?

Extremely...

Well what can I say except go elsewhere! Have Pizza at another Pizzeria !! Ordered a Calabrese Pizza, the Mushroom pieces were smaller than a 5c coin lucky if I got 2 on a slice , No Fire Roasted Bell Peppers capsicum replaced this. No Artichokes. And couldn't taste the Garlic . ALL TOPPINGS WERE SPARED EXCEPT CHEESE !! THE BASE WAS THIN NO FLAVOUR OR YEAST USED I BELIEVE (WE CALL THIS A DEAD DOUGH IN OUR TRADE ) BASE WAS COOKED BUT TOP WAS NOT MAKING IT TASTE RAW ! I wish I took a photo to back up what im saying but I don't Pay $19 for Pizza with half and no topping ! Oh I also forgot the shop smelt like curry and my Pizza had Paprika flavour too it. I Really hope you read your reviews and use them to improve , but I'm not coming...
