A Breakfast Culinary Delight - Sorelle Eatery: A Five-Star Experience

My Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sorelle Eatery, and I can confidently say that it is an absolute gem in the Brisbane cafe world. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and a charming ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

First and foremost, the food at Sorelle Eatery is nothing short of exceptional. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, each prepared with the utmost care and creativity. Whether you're a fan of classic comfort foods or prefer to explore more innovative flavors, Sorelle Eatery has something to satisfy every palate. The quality of ingredients is evident in every bite, and the presentation is truly a work of art. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors harmonize beautifully, leaving you craving for more. Tiramisu cruffin, say no more, it’s a revelation!

The service at Sorelle Eatery is second to none. The staff members are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what they do. They are more than happy to offer recommendations or cater to any dietary preferences or restrictions. Throughout my visit, the waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a genuine smile. Their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience truly sets Sorelle Eatery apart.

The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and soft lighting create a warm and welcoming ambiance, not to mention the beautiful homewares on off. I couldn’t resist the lemongrass handcream and walked away with a couple of tubes, one for my bag and one for the car. Whether you're visiting for a leisurely brunch, a quick coffee catch-up, or an intimate dinner, Sorelle Eatery provides a serene and enjoyable environment that enhances your overall experience.

Furthermore, Sorelle Eatery goes above and beyond when it comes to those with small children, the dedicated kids menu converts to a colouring-in activity with an array of colourful non-toxic crayons provided with a smile, it had my little one entertained whilst we waited on our meals.

Lastly, I must mention the delightful beverage selection at Sorelle Eatery. Their house-blend coffee is a revelation, and the baristas truly know their craft. Each cup is expertly brewed, delivering rich flavors and a smooth finish. Additionally, their selection of teas, fresh juices, and signature smoothies is extensive and perfectly complements the culinary delights on offer.

In conclusion, Sorelle Eatery is a culinary haven that exceeds all expectations. The exceptional food, impeccable service, inviting atmosphere, and commitment to sustainability make it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and cafe connoisseurs alike. Whether you're looking for a memorable dining experience or simply craving a comforting cup of coffee, Sorelle Eatery will leave you thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. I cannot recommend this cafe enough - it truly deserves every one of its five stars! Well done to the...

I just had a very bad experience that is quite different from what I am used to from Sorelle which makes me wonder if they are under new ownership - the original owners are the same that own Togninis Cafe and I used to love the food and service. However I had a catchup with a friend this morning at 7am and after a confrontation with the manager ended up leaving to go to Saint and Co instead. it was 10C outside and there is construction next door and they were using a saw which made it impossible to hear anything. I noticed that the folding door / wall was all the way open so I asked if it could be closed for the cold and noise. Here is how this conversation went: Me: Hi its very noisy with the construction and also cold, can we please close the folding door a bit? Manager: Sorry, I can't do that. Me: Why not? Manager: It's not possible to close the sliding door. Me: I don't understand, is it broken? Manager: No, the owner doesn't want it closed. Me: Can you let the owner know that a saw is running and its 10C in here? Manager: Sorry, its the managers golden rule to keep this folding door open. Me: Are you putting me on? Manager: I'm not going to argue with you. Its too early for this. .... By the way, there was only 1 other patron in the cafe!

So we left and we went to Saint and Co. This is very sad as I had been having monthly catchups at Sorelle but the new owners definitely are running an different kind...

I rarely leave reviews, but after my recent visit to Sorelle, I couldn’t not share how blown away I was! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like longtime friends - warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, with that perfect blend of charm and elegance. Whether you're there for a casual brunch or a more intimate dinner, it just feels right. Now let’s talk about the food - wow. The new menu is a total game-changer. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. You can tell the kitchen puts real thought and creativity into their offerings. The seasonal flavors, fresh ingredients, and inventive twists on classics had us raving with every bite. Don’t even get me started on the desserts… pure magic. Sorelle is doing everything right - exceptional service, a warm and inviting vibe, and food that’s honestly on another level. If you haven’t been lately, do yourself a favor and go. The new menu is not...

Visited Sorelle for a particular dish, but as it was seasonal it was off menu which was totally fine. Ordered two kids meal of Gnocchi with napoli - 14 and Popcorn chicken with tomatoe sauce - 13 for my children. I was surprised that the popcorn chicken wasn’t really popcorn chicken (more like schnitzel and was pretty dry). Portion was not impressive. We also ordered The Late Burger - 22 plus fries 5.5 and for $27.5, the taste & portion was disappointing. I had the Lemon Coconut Ricotta which was the best dish among all but for $25 - I wouldn’t recommend. The cafe ambience was lovely, service was average (staff who served us was a bit unsure when I asked a couple of questions about the food/menu). For the price I paid for our family’s lunch - about $80, I did not find the food worth it in terms of its portioning and taste. p.s there was a card surcharge which it wasn’t stated or mentioned to me before I paid

Sorelle Eatery is such a gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming vibe makes you feel right at home. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they really care about creating a great experience. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the wild mushroom bruschetta and you can taste the quality in every bite. The coffee is smooth and well-made (definitely one of the best in the area), and the menu has a perfect balance of comforting classics and unique options that make it stand out from other cafés. The space itself is light, modern, and cozy – whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, catching up with friends, or sitting down for a relaxed brunch, it’s the perfect spot. Highly recommend Sorelle Eatery if you’re after great food, great coffee, and even better service. I’ll definitely be back!

TLDR: Fantastic service and ambience, decent coffee, but the food was a let down. First impressions: Sorelle Eatery is an inviting space with clean, modern and minimalist decor helping you enjoy the expansive windows. The staff were super friendly and welcoming which is just nice. Ordering was a breeze and my coffee and dish were served relativley quickly. Coffee: their blend is decent for this coffee snob. Unassuming and inoffensive! Meal: I ordered their crab and prawn fettucine. It was underwhelming for $34. The sauce was watery and the dish overall lacked seasoning. The use of fresh pasta wasn't the best choice (a soft texture that added to the underwhelming experience), crab meat was sparse and the prawns were cooked well but under-seasoned. I'm keen to give this place another try (as I'm in the area often), so will update again.
