Have only tried a steak and mushroom pie so far - $6.10 for the pie, sauces 30c extra. šŸ‘: - crispy crust on top of the pie - overall flavour and consistency of the filling - visible mushroom pieces šŸ‘Ž: - the pastry (sides and base) on the rest of the pie was rather soft. I suspect it's due to the pies being cooked in the paper-based containers, so these parts of the pie don't have the same exposure to heat/air and instead get more of a steaming effect? I would've liked the steak content to be a bit chunkier, but that's more of a personal preference thing.

I’ve been here a few times and the food never tastes fresh and has a hard texture like it’s been prepared days prior. I got an apple turnover today and pulled out something that looked like a piece of plastic or hair from the pastry. Would not recommend as the hygiene standards seen questionable.

$7.50 for a soggy almost cold/room temperature pie that is undercooked. How does this business think this is decent ??? I can make a better one myself with no baking qualifications Gross. Never again

UPDATE-I got a sausage role here last week, greasy, not the norm and I'm sure the size has been reduced, extremely disappointed!! The quality has oviously dropped since my previous review where I raved about the food. It appears the owner is focused less on quality and more on profit! Lost a customer! PREVIOUS REVIEW- I have posted a review about the quality of food stating that the pies in the past were excellent HOWEVER since that review I have noticed the quality of the pies have gone down. They use to be packed with meat but since my original review seem to have gone downhill and the lovely chunks of meat that were in the original pies are now gone. Greed and profit driven, what...

Dec2022: I bought here for the first time and was sorely disappointed. Service was a little curt, but the bread was terrible and undercooked. Won’t return. A Turkish bread, a Ciabatta, a loaf of something, baguettes, a ā€œbreakfast scrollā€ (cinnamon square scroll). Attendant seemed annoyed when I asked what a breakfast scroll was, and also couldn’t describe it. I bought the Turkish bread for fresh prawn sandwiches. Weirdly crumbly but still doughy in the middle. Couldn’t be used. ā˜¹ļø It was okay toasted. Scroll was low flavour and flaky. Almost like dense panettone...
