UPDATE-I got a sausage role here last week, greasy, not the norm and I'm sure the size has been reduced, extremely disappointed!! The quality has oviously dropped since my previous review where I raved about the food. It appears the owner is focused less on quality and more on profit! Lost a customer! Dec2022: I bought here for the first time and was sorely disappointed. Service was a little curt, but the bread was terrible and undercooked. Won’t return. A Turkish bread, a Ciabatta, a loaf of something, baguettes, a “breakfast scroll” (cinnamon square scroll). Attendant seemed annoyed when I asked what a breakfast scroll was, and also couldn’t describe it. I bought the Turkish bread for fresh prawn sandwiches. Weirdly crumbly but still doughy in the middle. Couldn’t be used. ☹️ It was okay toasted. Scroll was low flavour and flaky. Almost like dense panettone...

Have only tried a steak and mushroom pie so far - $6.10 for the pie, sauces 30c extra.

👍: crispy crust on top of the pie overall flavour and consistency of the filling visible mushroom pieces

👎: the pastry (sides and base) on the rest of the pie was rather soft. I suspect it's due to the pies being cooked in the paper-based containers, so these parts of the pie don't have the same exposure to heat/air and instead get more of a steaming effect?

I would've liked the steak content to be a bit chunkier, but that's more of a personal...
