Tasty Thai food and split billing makes this place a great choice for groups, and that was how our family found ourselves joining a bunch of church friends for a Sunday lunch in January.

They had an off menu special of chicken rice which I thought was a little steep at $19.50, but regretted passing on that when I saw other orders come out - it was a sizeable portion that some struggled to finish / had enough leftovers for another meal. Next time.

Went with some basic selections of spring rolls, fried rice, and wifey's standing Thai eatery order of pad Thai. I didn't read the menu carefully enough so didn't realise that the fried rice could be enhanced with optional flavouring (choice of tomyam, samble, pineapple & curry powder, green curry, basil and shrimp paste). Having it "plain" is still good, but I'll make sure to try one of the flavour options in future - a pair of more seasoned customers beside us went with the shrimp paste option which wifey confirmed was different to ours.

Wouldn't particularly get the spring rolls again, which I felt was the weakest link in the meal. But they mostly served to help encourage the boy to eat the rest of his meal so there was a strategy behind their inclusion.

Our order: no.2 vegetarian spring roll (menu said 4pc but we received 6), $7.50 no.25 fried rice with beef, $14 - cooked with shallot and onion, top with cucumber and lime no.28 pad thai noodle with chicken, $14 - thin rice noodle fried with dried shrimp, tofu, bean sprouts, garlic chive, ground peanuts with a secret tamarind sauce

We were also quite impressed that the waiter (owner?) took our whole group's order without writing anything down - don't see that sort of...

I recently dined at Thai Nakonlanna in St Lucia, and I'm still raving about the incredible flavors and dishes I enjoyed! Two standout dishes that left me craving more were the Lamb Shank Curry and the Pad Thai Noodle.

The Lamb Shank Curry was cooked to perfection - the lamb was tender, falling-off-the-bone, and infused with a rich, creamy sauce that was both spicy and slightly sweet. The flavors were deep and complex, with a beautiful balance of Thai spices and herbs. It was love at first bite!

The Pad Thai Noodle was another highlight - stir-fried to perfection, with a delightful balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. The noodles were cooked just right, with a lovely texture and a generous serving of shrimp, tofu, and peanuts. The dish was fresh, vibrant, and utterly delicious!

The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous.

In short, Thai Nakonlanna is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Thai cuisine in St Lucia. Don't miss out on the Lamb Shank Curry and Pad Thai Noodle - they're absolute winners!

Recommendations:

Order the Lamb Shank Curry and Pad Thai Noodle - you won't regret it! Ask your server for spice level adjustments to suit your taste.

This was our favourite local joint for years - we came here so often they almost knew our exact order, and they were always very friendly. Over the years it started getting busier, and the service became less frequent, meaning it took a long time to order and get food because they never put on enough staff, but we still appreciated the student special and it being ‘our Thai place’. We went here last week for a post-graduation ceremony meal to celebrate and it was, hands down, the worst dining experience I have ever had. The staff were all extremely rude and reluctant - it took us almost an hour to get our order in, and even then we had to chase someone down. It then took over half an hour to get our appetisers, which were cold, and then when the mains finally came out they were lukewarm at best. Dessert was another over half an hour wait - we actually almost got up and left because it seemed they’d entirely forgotten about us and started packing up. Over 2hrs later we left - the staff had made us feel like we had totally inconvenienced them by being there, and we felt despondent, disappointment, very cranky, and like we’d been there forever for a very subpar meal. It was absolutely awful. Never, ever...

Honestly, five stars just aren’t enough for this place—I’d give it infinite stars if I could! I ordered the lamb shank and the steak, and both were absolutely exceptional. With this level of quality, you’d easily pay over $1000 per table in the city, but their prices are incredibly fair. The lamb shank and steak are out of this world, but you have to order them a day or two in advance. Amid the noise of everyday life, there is a place where flavour, aroma, and serenity come together… A Thai restaurant with the magical touch of Chef Patrick – where every plate tells a story from Thailand. The dishes aren’t just delicious – they are deep, vibrant, and soulful. The spices are carefully selected, the combinations are crafted like art, and each bite feels like a brief journey to Southeast Asia. Patrick isn’t just a chef – he’s a true artist. His passion and creativity are felt in every detail of every dish. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s different, heartfelt, and full of soul, don’t miss this place. Here, flavours speak louder than words… Thank you so much Patrick

Terrible experience - ordered on Uber eats pickup and it’s confusing as they are called “Pad Thai Guy” on there but not in the store so hard to find, and they had my name wrong despite it being written in the Uber order. They didn’t include the rice that was advertised as being a part of the dish. The vegan pad Thai ordered is labeled specifically as vegan on the menu, however came with egg in it so they clearly don’t know what vegan means. When we got the food home and realised the mistakes there, we rang about the vegan meal and no rice - they were really hard to get a hold of by phone - the staff member seemed confused about our order and we kept being passed onto others on the phone - eventually spoke to a guy who wasn’t apologetic or helpful - telling us we needed to sort it through Ubereats or they couldn’t do anything. Further to that, later found out after eating half a vegetarian curry that there were small chunks of chicken floating around in it at the bottom. Disgusting.

Amazing!!!This Thai restaurant is owned by a Hong Kong boss, and the food is really delicious! The owner is very friendly and always comes over to personally introduce the special dishes of the day. The service is superb. Almost every dish on the menu is a hit, and I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and steak! The steak is huge and perfect for 3-4 people to share. The texture is incredibly rich and satisfying. I also always order their stir-fried vegetables, especially the brocconlini, which is so tender and delicious that I can't stop eating it. I go there every Thursday at lunchtime, and even the curry has not disappointed me - it's super fragrant. I will definitely go back again, and I'm already planning to try their Hainan chicken dish next time. In short, I highly recommend this place and it's definitely worth a visit!
