Excellent taste, quality and competitive prices for a small suburban/original-school bakery! The sweet pastries (fresh cream & jam donuts, vanilla slice, cakes etc) are always fresh and soft, and savoury items are so tasty and with generous fillings such as their pies, scrolls, rolls and sandwiches etc.

Went here 20/8/19 with my mum and we both bought potatoe pies. While mum ate her pie she pulled a large foreign object out of her mouth that she couldn't chew on. It looked like it could have been a piece of skin or intestine, but we couldn't identify it. Made me throw up into my mouth a little bit. Mum says she will never eat another pie in her life. We bought a mash pie and a bacon & cheese pie, both of which only had about 20-30% of "meat" filling with bits of gristle and something chewy and stringy which I can only guess was offal.
