It's simple Japanese, but it's fast, fairly cheap, and tastes good. The sushi is a little more expensive (most of it is $3) and a little smaller than other places nearby, but it makes up for it with a wide variety of flavours. There's some seating inside, but it gets quite busy heading into lunch, so if you want to get a seat, I'd recommend arriving a bit before or after the peak lunch rush. If you don't care about sitting down, everything is available take away.

These guys had the best teriyaki beef Bento boxes, but they don't sell them anymore :( only smaller pre-made ones in the display. Still a great place. The Teriyaki beef bowl + Udon soups are fabulous. The lady at the front is ALWAYS so cheerful and sweet.

Great food and service. The food was fresh and was perfectly seasoned with a good serving of meat and vegetables. The service was polite and fast. I think I’ve found my new haunt for work lunches!

Few months ago, my husband and I ordered a couple of warm dishes and none of them tasted good. I barely could eat it. About a month ago, I was in a hurry and I thought to give it another try. I ordered 2 sushi rolls: one salmon and the other one was tuna avocado. The salmon roll was not testing good. I could tell that was something wrong with the salmon. So, I jumped into the tuna roll. The rice tasted terrible like the roll was sitting there for more than a day. The shop was kind of quiet, so I got up and went to the counter and called the sushi person on the side (to not make a scene of course) and explained her that the sushi rolls tasted a bit unusual. The girl turned to the other two people behind the counter and started to talk very loud to each other in Japanese. They were all laughing aloud like my comment was an absurd. She turned back to me and said... "ok..." with a cynical expression. Just for the record, I eat Japanese food at least 2 to 3 times a week in different places, so I know how a good sushi taste. This place has no respect for customers and they were unbelievably rude. I will never go back to this place. By the way... in the same site there is Woolworths... the sushi rolls that they sell is...

Definitely one of the best takeaway Japanese spots in Brisbane CBD. The salmon aburi don is so delicious. Staff are friendly and service is efficient, even at peak times. They do free drinks with a don order on thursdays when the cathedral square markets are happening, which is always nice. Prices are typical compared to...
