Going to a restaurant and being refused a menu, that’s is something ! We were told to put an order online by scanning the qr code, only if it was that simple . Before you even get to see the menu or order they ask you to register by giving them your phone number email or facebook, what else do you guys want? Shall I give you my address and bank details too? I didn’t want to proceed with the online order as I didn’t want to give them any of my personal Information. I asked if there was another way to order and the waiters said no, you’ve got to be kidding right. Can’t believe how rude she was! I somehow managed to order a few sushi things but she never placed my order so after waiting and waiting I had to cancel that. We order a big size udon beef noodles but instead got a small size . I double checked with the waitress whether it was the right size and she just lied to my face saying it’s the big one. this wasn’t my first time at sushi train I know how big is the big noodle bowl. Disgusting ! It was a young looking Asian girl who served our table . I know I wasn’t at a five star restaurant but at least you expect the stuff to be a little nicer then that . My husband also felt sick after having some of those sushi of the conveyer and said that it was the worst sushi he has ever had, overpriced and bad quality . Won’t come back to that...
Read moreI have been visiting this local business at least for 5 years+, as supporting the local business with living close by. It used to be a very good and welcoming place, and all the family members used to love it. However, since last year, the recent a few visits, the service was terrible!!! The staff member at front house was next level bad! The moment we walked in store, ignoring us straight away and walked away! ( excuse me, is that the customer service?) when we sitting down, every time we tried to call service staff, it would take forever to acknowledged, and the waitress serving always with a sharp attitude. I am that type of person didn’t want to bother the waitress unless it’s necessary. But this place is just next level!!! It is not just from recent one or two visit, it’s been every visit since last year. I believe the two main kitchen staff/ couple are looking after the restaurant and very friendly, and it’s hard for them when the waitresses are like this to turn customer away. I feel really bad for them, as Covid the business must be not easy and still paying this much wages to those staff members and they present like this. After this visit, I really disappointed and angry, would not like to give this place another chance for any...
Read moreUpdate: It's been a year since my original review. Upon entry, I definitely felt for the staff member who had to clean up after a child (I assume) threw copious amounts of sushi and rice in the immediate vicinity - the booth and surrounding floor area were smattered with food.
Still no condiments on the train or at the table, staff were more helpful at this visit (stopped in after the lunchtime rush so there was approx 5 other patrons). Major item to note at this visit was that the air conditioning vent above the booth we were seated at, was leaking and dripping water onto the food on our table. I'm quite sure that's not food-safe... When this was brought to the staff's attention, they were already...
