This is a great little bar and is so welcoming. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. There was a long list of gins to choose from and I was given useful advice about choosing one that suited my tastes. Delicious. Inside tables plus a courtyard with the interior air con winning out on a hot day, in amongst the plants. The Ploughman has to be my favourite craft beer pub/micro-brewery. Lee (the owner) is an legend, and has has created a nice chilled out vibe. Lee is obviously passionate about what he does, and the proof is in the incredible beer ( and gin) he serves up. All the beer is brewed on site, and changes regularly so there is always something new to try. If beer isn't you thing, Lee has great wine and gin options to choose from also.

Wish I had found this unicorn spot sooner. Moved to the area recently and lacked a location to have a social drink. Lee's set up over delivered. Will be back regularly, after living locally in Ashgrove the ploughman is amazing. I havent even mentions the brews but in my opinion I will tell everyone I meet in to make the trip and try themselves. There is a high probability you will leave with high satisfaction like myself.
