The Krusty Krab Seafoods — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I was really disappointed when I drove 8 hours and visited this place. I went to visit my friends, and while we talking about plans for the day, I mentioned that it would be nice to go have food out and hang out. If I'm being honest, my friends rarely leave the house so this was a nice chance to pick somewhere to eat and convince them that being out is fun. I searched for places to eat at and found this place, I thought it was really cool because of what its named; The Krusty Krab. I'm a massive fan of SpongeBob, but I dont think that he makes the best food, or even good food.

The place was really dirty and dusty and was a very messy place. Food took forever to be cooked and delivered and one of the lighting structures were broken and was flashing (which almost caused my friend to have an epilepsy attack).

I saw a few cockroaches around the place, and the food came with a few hairs in the food. At the point of actually eating the food, we politely gave the food back and told them that we weren't coming back. As we were leaving the employees were laughing menacingly, and insulted us.

After reading the reviews here & seeing many were done by people who watch 'Spongebob Squarepants' & probably don't live anywhere near by, I thought I'd write a review.

I went here a couple of weeks ago & was pretty disappointed. The staff are ok, but seemed a bit grumpy.

The battered fish was the worst I've ever had. Usually batter should be a few mm at most, but not here. Look at the width of your thumb.... that's how much batter was on EACH side of the fish. It was as though the fish was between 2 donuts. Gross!

None of the fish was Australian. According to the menu, the Cod was from New Zealand & the others from Vietnam & Thailand. seafood stick tasted like it had sugar in it & the calamari was ok. Nothing to write home about.

It used to be good, but in the last year or so, it's gotten worse. Stays alive as it's the only Fish & Chip shop catering the area. Definitely taking the time to drive further...

When you purchase $5 chips, 4 very small potato scallops, 2 seafood sticks one hopes for an enjoyable lunch with the kids.

There was more grease in the chips & potato scallops along with the grease proof paper to what you have in your deep fryer

Seafood sticks if you’re going to crumb your own may I suggest you actually crumb correctly.

This feed was an absolute joke.. complete waste of $16.00 even the dog wouldn’t eat it.

If this is what you call quality you need to have a good look at what you are serving.. maybe ask yourself would I eat the crap I served up for a...
