Deja Bru Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I would never write negative reviews on pages however, really appalled by the customer service of this place. I ordered a decaf coffee (due to medication and medical issues, I cannot have caffeine) - within 20 minutes, I realised the coffee was in fact, not decaf - I have an anxiety rash all over my neck and my heart is racing, hands are shaking. All the telltale signs, I have in fact, had caffeine. I politely called to let the owner know that it wasn't decaf, as request and to just be mindful in the future as customer have intolerances, caffeine being a major one as it can affect medication etc. As soon as he realised I was giving feedback, I was yelled at, spoken over and called "crazy" told I was not the one making the coffee so to "shut up". The response to polite feedback was beyond disgusting. I cannot believe the customer services from this place, especially after the feedback given was in a polite and respectful manner, I also said I wasn't requesting a refund but just to be mindful in the future - even though they have done the wrong thing and food intolerances need to be...

We came here a couple of weeks ago. I gave a star for my coffee which was good. My partner ordered a sausage roll which arrived stone cold. Surprised, he returned it to be heated. It was then placed under a grill, very briefly before returned, as completely cold. We gave up at this point. If a customer returns an item, it would be in the best interest of the staff to ensure it was fixed with a dedicated effort. Maybe a mircowave may help, but we will not...

This place used to be great but over the last few months it's been pretty slack. The last three times I've ordered, they got it wrong but charged me for my correct order. So I'm paying for an expensive coffee and just getting overheated, burnt tasting coffee, with no flavour as asked. The food has gone down hill too as the croissant I ordered was burnt.
