Crustaceans Seafood — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This is not the first time that I’ve been disappointed with the business. The other times my issue were mainly with poor communication and customer service. This time it is with the quality of the food and atmosphere. I phoned and ordered a hamburger, fish and potato scallops. Was told 10 minutes. When I arrived in 10 minutes, no other customers were in the shop and they appeared not busy. The older gentleman was sitting outside smoking ( I could smell the cigarette smoke, which I found off putting). The burger I assume was cooked but they hadn’t even put the rest of my order on to cook. Had to wait sometime for that. The order was cooked by the young lad who seemed to be distracted by the other young person. When I got home and opened my burger it smelled like burnt toast and was cold. The bun when it was toasted on the grill was burnt black with a hard burnt crust completely covering both buns. I couldn’t eat the burger as the bun was too burnt to eat. I rang the shop to speak to the in charge person to be told they don’t speak English, so my issue wasn’t resolved. This business has really declined in the quality of the food and customer service since the new owner took over. I definitely won’t be back again. Oh my lordy, I don't give away 5 stars easily but I had grilled sea perch which was cooked to perfection and big fat chips for lunch today. I like a good fish and chip shop and food wise this small shop ranks right up there as one of the best seafood shops in Brisbane. It's a basic small fish and chip outlet which doesn't display it's seafood in the display cabinets which I thought was a little strange but then realised the sun hits the cabinets during the day so they probably keep the seafood in the fridge until needed. Personally I don't care what the place looks like as long as the food is up to my standard, which it most definitely was. I waited about 10 minutes during lunch time. Avoid at all costs

Came in with the family and ordered a meal for 3, asked if the chips can be well done and extra chicken salt.

waited 20 mins to find out they gave our order away to some one else, then they kept asking what we ordered so we told the child working the front counter AGAIN our order(he took the original order to start with) told us 2 mins(20 mins later) then they were arguing amongst then selfs and then we got the food and not once did they apologise

we got home to find out NO CHICKEN SALT, the prawn cutlets smelled foul and the chips were like rubber, end result was biggest waste of $40
