Always beautiful banh mi, usually get lemongrass beef with the beautiful chilli oil. This is truely a lovely spot I always need to get a banh mi while Im in the hypermarket it always hits the spot and is made with love and care worth the short wait! Today when I got it home and opened it up I had to take a photo it was a picture perfect banh mi the house chilli oil is definitely the secret advantage of their Bahn mi, the BMF when you ask for chilli they just spread minced up chilli on the sandwich and it is unpleasantly spicy but at WOW the house chilli oil makes it a close contender for the best banh mi in Brisbane. While doing my weekend shopping, I had become so famished from all the walking in Stafford Shopping Centre, and almost did I just resort to my usual go-to fast food restaurant, Guzman y Gomez. Fortunately, I recalled that there is a food court in Stafford Shopping Centre too. And there is a Vietnamese food stall in the food court! Vietnamese is one of my favourite cuisines. We were late for lunch and pulled into Aspley Hypermarket hoping to find a reasonably healthy option. We decided to try Wow Banh Mi and were rewarded for our choice. Our selections were rare beef pho and crispy pork belly Banh Mi to share. The pho was fragrant and filling with basil, bean shoots and sauce accompaniments - very nice.
