A great place for authentic indian food. They provide the authentic taste to the traditional indian food, be it snacks or starters or main course. The best part is the the Birayani. You have the choices of vegetarian, gobhi 65, chicken, lamb. They also provide Family and also the Jumbo sized Biryani for both take aways and dine in options which easily caters to 10-15 people. The Bar is another highlight of the place dosa hut. You can have the international options for the drinks and also the india variety of beer like haywards 5000 and Kingfisher. I am sure the Indians reading this review will correlate. The paneer tikka is another speciality of the place. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. The restaurant is big enough to accommodate more people but still on the weekends you can expect a bigger waiting queue. Hence it is better to call and reserve the seat early. The dosa hut also provides an option of a separate hall for organising small parties like kitty, birthday or normal get togethers. The seating for these type is both indoors and outdoor and is separate from the main restaurant. Thus you can a private party altogether. They also provide an option of choosing a different menu to suit the gathering. The place also has ample parking space . The staff is also very friendly and courteous. Do not forget to like the dosa hut's Facebook page. This would entitle you 5% discount on your bill. Yes.... it is true. Once you are there.. start your order with the Jaljira drink to boost your appetite . The biryani is their main selling cuisine and although there are other restaurants around for Indian cuisine but they cannot math the taste, quality and quantity that Dosa hut offers. You will not go wrong in choosing this place for dining out. We have become fan and regular visitors of the place. They also have branches across Sydney Melbourne...
Read moreA Truly Delightful Culinary Experience at Doosahut! My recent visit to Doosahut was absolutely fantastic, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was truly exceptional. A special shout-out goes to Isha and Vavesh, who provided outstanding service throughout our meal. Read moreHaving sampled the cuisine on a single occasion, despite prior cautionary advice from acquaintances, I decided to grant it a second opportunity. During my initial visit, I chose the Mirchi Bajji, which proved to be delightful. However, on a subsequent visit a week later, my experience took a nosedive as I found myself unable to consume more than one out of the three ordered Mirchi Bajjis. Preferring not to hastily draw conclusions about the chef, I remained relatively taciturn on the matter.
Undeterred, I opted to give the establishment another chance by placing a takeaway order for the third time. To my dismay, the Mirchi Bajjis were replaced with unwieldy sticks that required considerable effort to break apart. Unfortunately, the entire order ended up in the trash, leading me to resolve not to revisit.
Despite my resolution, circumstances compelled me back to the eatery with my wife and son on an unfortunate day when no other establishments were open. This time, I ordered the Mirchi Bajji alongside Pav Bhaji. However, the Mirchi Bajji lacked its initial appeal, emitting an unpleasant odor, and the Pav Bhaji turned out to be a mere tomato paste with a hint of carrot puree, devoid of any distinctive flavor. As a final attempt, I ordered two Chicken Biryani and two Gobi Biryani for takeaway, only to discard them after a mere spoonful due to their disappointing taste. Please refrain from wasting your time and money at this...
