I wouldn’t normally post a negative review like this without multiple visits - but yesterday’s lunch crew were so painful I feel compelled to share the experience in case you’re ducking in on your lunch break…
3 crew on - growing line, clearly receiving online orders as well.
Crew were working at snail’s pace - I’ve never experienced anything like it.
No acknowledgement of any customer until they were ready to take the order - this extended to old mate grabbing a tablet to work through an online order (again at snail’s pace) without even the illusion of awareness of the growing, and increasingly agitated line of people who’d gone to the effort of coming into their establishment.
When the lady FINALLY completed a sandwich she would then insincerely run to the beginning of the counter as if the half-hearted jog was meant to acknowledge the horrendous amount of time she’d just taken to butcher a sandwich. I acknowledge this is harsh, but I’m of a view that the action is condescending in the absence of an apology for the delay.
Then when I finally get served, chap was friendly enough but again moving at snail’s pace. My sub was constructed with the same standard of care the rest of the subs i observed getting made - haphazard would be putting it lightly.
As a Subway - quality was fairly standard - I’ll obviously never understand how difficult it must be to spread ingredients out evenly over a sub, but I observe that it’s a widespread obstacle Subway staff struggle to overcome.
I would not recommend attending on your lunch break - as I did - as someone else in the line pointed out to the staff. I could only recommend this Subway if you’ve got time to burn on top of the capacity to forgive an unpredictable combination of flavours throughout your mess...

Okay, let’s just get this out of the way: I’m obsessed. I’m talking full-blown, can’t-stop-won’t-stop, loyal-for-life SUBWAY ASPLEY fan! 🙌
This isn’t just a sandwich shop… it’s my sanctuary of salad-stuffed satisfaction. I’ve been a regular at this location for ages, and every visit hits harder than the last. Like, how do they make a sandwich feel like a personal celebration of your taste buds? It’s magic. 🪄
Now, let’s talk about my healthy go-to legend of a sub: ✨ One foot of freshly baked rye bread perfection ✨ Tender, juicy chicken strips like they’ve been marinated in dreams ✨ A crunchy rainbow of salad stacked sky-high ✨ And the grand finale… a glorious drizzle of Southwest Chipotle sauce – spicy, creamy, zingy joy in liquid form! 😍🔥
This combo is so balanced, so satisfying, and still feels like a treat. It’s the kind of lunch that makes you walk out feeling like you’ve just won at life. And the best part? The team there always greets me with warm smiles and somehow remember my order – talk about service!
If you haven’t been to Subway Aspley, you’re seriously missing out. It’s not fast food… it’s fast fuel for champions. 🏆🥪
10/10 would recommend. Actually, scratch that. 1,000,000/10 — WOULD SUB AGAIN. 💚💛

Read moreHave been coming to this subway a little since it’s 24 hour and fairly close to me, this morning was my third time here and when I entered the lady behind the counter was playing loud audio through the speakers of a man singing in an other language. She could barely hear me when I was ordering and out multiple wrong ingredients on the sandwich with not enough cheese or sauce, she charged me the wrong price for the sandwich ($13.90 for the honey mustard leg ham footlong which is meant to be $12.95 is what the instore menu says). Store was unclean with a mop and bucket infront of the door as you enter. I had to leave because I could not even hear my own music through my headphones. I’d rather drive out of my way to the 24 hour carseldine subway instead of...
