A new local cafe which serves plant-based treats with a strong tendency towards Indian flavours. The food was freshly made and tasty. I had the Sticky Premium VBeef burger and hubby had a Haloumi Toasted Naanwich.

My burger promised tandoori mushrooms, mint raita and crispy chilli onion rings which didn't deliver in those flavours or textures unfortunately. The burger was still really yummy but all I tasted was the mock beef patty, heaps of lettuce and the barbecue tamarind sauce.

Hubby had the Haloumi Toasted Naanwich which he said was tasty. It got soggy down the bottom (my fault as he had to hold our baby while I ate)

Drinks: Hubby had Purple Paradise (Acai based) and I had Mocha Moonshine (coffee based). Both very delicious but we both thought it needed more ice. I personally loved the flavours of my drink and will order it again and just ask for more ice. I prefer the flavours of this coffee based drink more than the one from Charlie's.

All in all, a good local cafe. Great concept, just needs some fine tuning. As with all "plant based" places, i kind of expect more actual/real vegetables showcased on the menu rather than mock meat. The food and drinks were delicious. Good spot for vegans, vegetarians and those who want to try something different. @ Yumantra - Vegan & Plant-Based...

We indulged in a late Sunday lunch at Yumantra and enjoyed the experience.

My wife and I sat outside and, even though the business is situated on busy Logan Rd, we felt shielded from the road and the traffic noise wasn't intrusive. Let me add that Yumantra only provides a couple of tables (all outdoors) so takeaway or a nearby park could be on the cards during busier times.

We both ordered the salad option which, although not unique, utilises a 'build your own' concept. You get the base salad, add your 'meat' of choice (butter chicken, beef meatballs, for example) and then select a sauce (raita, smoky tomato chutney, chili coconut mayo and others). A side serve of masala fries was ordered as well.

In a nutshell, the meals were really nice and actually quite filling. We enjoyed both choices and the chips were great. We washed the meals down with some standard bottled kombucha.

Overall, this is a well presented venue, the gentleman serving us was friendly although relatively quiet (no issue with that at all), the food was great and the prices...

I don't usually like to give one star but there is no other option in this case. There is no consistency whatsoever with regard to opening times. Please do not go without calling ahead as you cannot rely on Google maps info to be accurate when it comes to this business. The one saving grace here is that unlike their St Lucia location there is a number to call to check and see if it has tickled their fancy to open the doors that day. But hopefully you don't want to order one of the regular menu items that haven't yet been marked as "unavailable" because around half of the menu they can't make due to not having the stock to do so. I get it, having small business is hard but maybe plan ahead a bit more before attempting to offer something to the public I mean it's a great place if you don't mind turning up somewhere that's always closed and never serves what is on their...

Cheerful and friendly little vegan place on a busy corner at Greenslopes. Easy to miss when you drive passed, but you're going to want to slow down and stop in - it's excellent!! Menu isn't huge, but has plenty of variety. We shared a naan burger, a roti wrap, and a side of the cauliflower popcorn - and all were delicious and tasty, we loved them all!! Price was very reasonable, and the food came out quickly and well-packed to take home. We'll definitely be back!!

3.25 ⭐ - a bit inconvenient that the tables are behind the restaurant so you have to walk around. We tried the: 🌯 Rogan Josh roti wrap - got a kick to it, generous filling and good flavours 🌯 Spicy cauliflower pakoda popcorn - great seasoning, very flavoursome and doesn't feel heavy at all 🌯 Poppadum Nachos - very underwhelming. There was barely any sauce and the poppadum breaks too easily. The fillings wasn't mindblowing
