I’m going to be blunt, this is the first review I’ve been stirred up enough to write, we had family around, and was supposed to be having a movie night, totally ruined, absolutely ridiculous service, ordered a family burger box, which contains, two burgers two wraps 6 chicken nuggets regular popcorn chicken and two large chips, also a 5 peice box with large chips.... what turned up was two burgers, 3 wings, two small chips that were half full and a tiny tub of what looked mash and gravey, and 1 peice of chicken that looked like a staff member had to fight a rat for, cue An hour of tooing and frowing with deliveroo and KFC Greenslopes, KFC blaming deliveroo as they “had the same issue earlier in the night with the same guy” told she would call us back in a minute and all seemed Rosie, next thing deliveroo are calling us to offer us a refund which totally bamboozled us, KFC had our order! Hell they even gave us the order number, it’s a simple case of looking at a list and then putting what’s on the list in a box, and then passing it to the delivery person, I don’t see what was so hard?! I don’t go shopping follow my list and walk out of woolies with a nothing that was on the list, with a trolly full of ink cartridges for a printer I don’t even own, this was around 9.10, we originally ordered about 8.15 give or take. Deliveroo said they would put the order back through, they did and it was rejected at 9.20, I called KFC again to see what the score was, I was told that deliveroo will be calling again in a little while to explain as they close soon, I got even more confused (if you’ve keep up so far i applaud you) I was told the order was canceled/rejected as they didn’t have any drivers and they don’t have any control of the drivers, to that end I said “but you have control of what you put in the box, you have a list and an order number” she repeated that it’s something to take up with deliveroo, I called them back and they said we will get a full refund... I agreed with that. But honestly, come on. This isn’t the only KFC that has this issue, morningside does as well, KFC seem to be taking on staff that are either still at school, where they go to work after school and use KFC as a social club and flirting ground, then there’s the slightly older, that are in college I assume, they hang about the place laughing joking, taking the mick out of customers because, well that’s what you do when your a selfie obsessed D grade Wally waiting for a reality show to find you and make you the next Kim kardashian, I really have witnessed the selfie thing, while I was waiting to be served, I couldn’t believe it. Still I suppose that’s enough of a rant, KFC Deliveroo, this really is looking like a business venture that’s going to go down the drain... until KFC choose to higher people based on what they can bring to a team, and the management to lead them, rather than “let’s get shed loads of minimum wagers” and save a fortune, compromising service, quality and professionalism, I’m not talking the ritz, but maybe take a page out of Maccas book, never had one issue when ordering for a...
Read moreI have been to this store before and plenty of others but this is the WORST experience I've had that this is the first time ive felt i needed to put a complaint in. I put my order in at 2:02pm saturday 13th May with an online order. From about 2:15pm half my order had been started getting made on the bench. 2:25pm i was told they were just waiting for my twister and burger with a very brief apology. Then by 2:34pm my order was complete but everything else had been sitting on the bench for more than 15 minutes at room temperature. The young lady then spoke to the manager after i complained and then just continued making food. No communication to me with what was happening. Other people too had been waiting a long time. Then 2:40pm was when they called me again then i asked to speak to the manager, he came over and as i calmly complained about how long i had been waiting for "fast food" he showed zero sympathy, barely apologising and didnt take my complaint seriously only saying that he got the girls to remake the food. There was zero sense of urgency as everyone was working extremely slow. They prioritised the drivethru completely. I didnt start an argument with the manager as i was just starving and didnt feel like yelling at someone. So i left very annoyed this store did not seem to care at all i had waited for 40 minutes for my food. Complaint has also been sent directly to kfc website. Read moreOrdered few things from the App and was waiting for picking my order up on 26 June. I was told the business hour was wrong so they closed at 10pm which mean they couldn’t prepare my order to me. A male staff asked me to leave my contact number and email. Went there again on 10 July in the afternoon cuz still waiting for my refund from the order on 26 June l. Their daytime manager came out to ask me again for my details and apologized that and saying they would refund the money to me ASAP.
Last week, went there again at night and the manager named Ollie came out asking me what happened and I explained that to him. He questioned me why I came there asking for the refund of the order from two months ago. Bad and rude attitude and I was really disappointed but I still patiently explained myself to him and he made a phone call and told me I would receive the refund in three or five business day.
I'm still waiting for the refund right now. Extremely disappointed and this experience has left a negative impression on me. I have been a regular visitor to KFC Greenslopes but never thought will be treated like this.
