Zarraffa's Coffee Greenslopes — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I came into this zarraffas on Friday to get beans, unfortunately even though I asked for a specific setting they were ground way too fine. I called up and informed them, the lady on the phone told me to come in the next day to get a new bag. I went in and they were closed. The following day I check Google and it said that they were open, however after a 15 minute drive I discovered they were closed. The following day I check Google again, it said they were open - Only to discover once I’d driven there AGAIN that they were close. I tried to call both times but unfortunately the shop doesn’t usually answer the phone and I assume they are busy. But when an employee tells me to “come on in” even though they’re closed, it’s a little frustrating. I went back in today and I feel like I wasn’t really listened to regarding what happened, I’ve wasted time out of my holidays going back and forth because your shop did not update any...

I usually enjoy my coffee at the mt gravatt branch, but my experience at this location was extremely disappointing.

As shown in the attached picture, the coffee I received had no latte art and looked unappetizing. Unfortunately, it tasted just as bad. My home made coffee is even far better than this one showing in the picture.

It is baffling why coffee is served in such a manner. If the barista lacks the necessary skills, they should undergo proper training instead of using customers as practice subjects. The coffee's appearance was unappealing and the taste was subpar. I will not be returning to this branch.

However, I strongly recommend the Mt Gravatt branch, which has consistently provided excellent coffee and service.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place, especially the staff. They go above and beyond in every possible way, treating everyone with kindness, warmth, and genuine care. It’s rare to find people who truly brighten your day just by being themselves, but that’s exactly what they do here.

In a world that can sometimes feel rushed and impersonal, the staff at Zarraffa’s Greenslopes are a beautiful reminder that compassion and kindness still thrive.
