Cafe on Main — Restaurant in Bulahdelah

Bulladelah is an easy exit off the main road up the north coast of NSW for a great small town rest stop and lunch - and this cafe actually serves ordinary sandwiches! So hard to find sometimes, just a plain cheese sandwich. They have burgers and cakes too, and good beverage selection- love saxbys pineapple fizzy drink!! But the sandwiches are the best- freshly made, ranging from simple to more filled, something for everyone! Our family had curried egg and lettuce, ham salad, plain cheese, and plain egg. When sitting in a car on a long trip a simple sandwich is a nice, light refreshment. Lovely staff and great service too - highly recommend Cafe on Main and a little wander around gift stores and the Church Op shop...

Stopped here for a travel break ordered coffee and a cake we then patiently waited before a local lady noticed we had been waiting a while we counted 11take away coffees served after we had ordered finally we received our order 20 minutes later but when we questioned the male waiter he said that’s impossible and returned with a receipt saying it was only 10 minutes ordered at 10.42 and it was now 11.00 am so not only is this person arrogant he also is not very good at maths he should be washing dishes not dealing with the public so do yourself a favour go elsewhere there are other more accommodating cafes in this lovely town. I thought this was a lovely cafe full of charm The let down came from the attitude when I asked if I could have cooked onion on my vegetarian works burger. The young lass asked the cook if I was "allowed" to have onion on a vegetarian works burger. I was handed the burger to drive away and meet up with friends for lunch to find I had been charged $18 for a bun with a bit of lettuce, tomato, onion and home made curry flavoured vegie patty. I would have given more stars without the attitude and if I received an actual burger I requested and paid for. I'm sure they could do better because the food I saw being served looked delicious and people...
