Was very dissapointed today. Ordered the beef rendang with rice and vegetables. But got what I wasn't expecting. It was a hodgepodge of beef and mixed veg in a sweet creamy gravy/sauce. Beef rendang either in Indonesia or Malaysia is always cooked on its own, not with mixed veg- and definitely not with brocoli, cauliflower and carrots! I asked the chef as to what style this was and he first said it was sumatera and later said java! The beef rendang in nasi padang (from sumatera) is hot and spicy, not like this, and not the one from java too. I've been to Indonesia many times and I've had Indonesian housekeepers/cooks from various provinces of Indonesia and never came across this version of beef rendang. Beef rendang is hot and spicy but this one was sweet and nutty. Wasn't nice at all and did not finish it. I actually detoured off the highway just to have a hot and spicy rendang and was most dissapointed. Do Google about...

Great food here. I usually always order the curry chicken with a long black coffee & it's fantastic. The coffee really compliments the after-taste of the curry chicken👌 I love eating outside & basking in the beauty of the alum mountain that looms over the town & I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is some of THE BEST eating in Australia. Sure the place doesn't look that fancy, but it's a small-town business that punches above its weight. These bad reviews must be rare occurrences, because I've never had a bad experience or bad food here. My girlfriend & I usually pay about $40 in total for what we order. 10/10 would recommend...

Rude staff, if you're not a local, food was OK, no seasoning, watterie sause. I definitely won't be going out of my way to patron this place again. Came from Coombapark. They obviously have a captive audience in such a small town. Run down restaurant. Staff can't cope if there's more than 5 covers.

I only leave bad reviews when its particularly bad,I reward a restaurant with my continued patronage and recommend others to visit. Not in this cases.

You're restaurant is fithy didn't even wipe down the tabe for the reservation on the other table and when we sat down. I am sorry I appreciate...

We had a great lunch here. We came here with our little ones and they really enjoyed the food here. The nasi goreng was absolutely delicious! All of the dishes were very well seasoned, and we thought the food was very similar to what we had in Bali. Our kids were so happy with the food that they wanted to thank the chef for the delicious food. This was a nice surprise for us when we were looking for something to try. One of my favourite things about this restaurant is the generous serving! We had so much food and it cost us less than $90 for 4 people.

great spot for a pit stop & food refuel. won’t get better food along the way, really genuinely lovely staff who are super quick and happy to help - we got the satay skewers and the prawn numby which hit the spot (especially with a can of lemonade) yum yum yum. can stop and eat in nearby riverfront to soak up gorgeous scenery, a little on the pricer side but that’s alright
