Potter's Pantry Bundanoon — Restaurant in Bundanoon

When driving through Bundanoon you must take a moment to stop and head into Potter’s Pantry. My family and I have stopped here on a number of occasions over the last few years, and enjoy our visits every time. They have a large cabinet of cakes and biscuits, a solid breakfast and lunch menu, which is served alongside delicious coffee.

The team have taken a very strong, but fair, approach to their COVID-19 safety measures, for which my family and I truly appreciate. I have personally witnessed them being shouted at and abused from others who refuse to wear masks, or to sign in. The team should be applauded for their actions in trying to keep their community safe, not antagonised for following the imposed restrictions.

The food is generous, the team are friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. You can tell they are well liked by their community as the regulars flow in and the team know them by name, and some, even their coffee order.

We always look forward to our visit at Potter’s and can’t wait to return again...

First time coming here, and will be back! Super cute little cafe. The seating area is a bit small and cramped, definitely not fit for a big group. There was a big group when my partner and I went, it was a small glass room so the sound echoed and it was very loud! I couldn't even hear my partner who was directly across from me.

The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious! The large coffee is very large!! I would go with a medium next time. We tried a chocolate donut and hedge hog slice, both were not very good. The eggs Benedict was sooo tasty!! And...

The caramel milkshake was lovely and the banana bread too. The peanut butter shake was great. I had high hopes for the gingerbread hot chocolate but the gingerbread was too mild. It tasted like a tiny bit of powdered ginger was added to a standard hot chocolate powder mix. It wasn't hot enough either unfortunately - a common issue I find with large sized hot drinks. The lemon and poppyseed cake was good with the cream - it needs the cream. Lovely atmosphere, good prices, great service. Lovely little shop with a few local and handmade...
