Eric’s Food Van at The Malbon is an absolute gem! The old-school burgers are exactly how they should be—served on a proper bun, not a milk bun or brioche, and packed with flavour. The homemade pork and fennel sausage roll is phenomenal, and the fresh juice is top-notch. Generous servings at great prices make it even better.

Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is fantastic. There’s a great family-friendly vibe with plenty of seating, a brilliant mud kitchen and cubby house for the kids, and beautiful garden art to wander through. The nursery setting adds to the charm, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming.

Honestly picked this place cos of the stellar reviews, and boy were they spot-on! Stopped here on our way to Canberra, the pulled pork burger (probably a special) was out of this world, the apple slaw was the right balance of sweet and acid. My wife got a veggie benny roll and it was generously stuffed with waffle fries. My cousin ordered the calamari salad and said the dressing was perfect. The place is located at the Malbon, which is a cute little shop you should deffo check out as well. This place just goes above and beyond, I used to stop here each week passing through for work during winter, there would be fires lit to keep warm while you wait for your coffee / food. The food here is amazing! As is the customer service, today I was on a call with my boss waiting for it to end (I hate ordering while on the phone) and Eric/owner? Grabs my attention and asks me do I want a coffee, gave him a yes and a minute later it’s done (and delicious!). There’s even free dog treats for doggos.
