Dragon Inn — Restaurant in Byford

I do not recommend Dragon Inn at all. If you want Chinese food go to Armadale, The Happy Gathering. We thought we would have a change of cuisine tonight and chose Dragon Inn. We placed our order through Menulog which was easy to follow online. We ordered Prawn Crackers, Combination Chowmein, Honey Chicken, Combination Fried Rice, Satay Chicken and a Soup. The soup was fantastic and the flavour was beautiful. Each dish looked delicous. Sad to say every dish after the soup was tasteless and bland even the Prawn Crackers had no taste. The Honey Chicken had no Honey flavour at all. I am afraid we will not be crossing Dragon Inn again. $95 for tasteless and bland food is not good. Having just read the reviews, my suggestion is that you step up your dishes and cook what you actually have on your menu not slap...

Would have given a negative rating if it was possible. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Szechuan Chicken, Combination Fried Kway Teow, Vegetarian Fried Rice and Salt & Pepper Pork. Every dish fiercely competed in being the worst dish on the planet. Hot & sour soup was boiled water with corn flour & soy sauce, hardly any meat and no black mushrooms, but there were frozen peas in the soup. Yeah frozen peas. Szechuan chicken was sweet, Kway Teow wasn’t smoked but rather just boiled flat noodles with no flavour, Salt & Pepper Pork was thin slices of meat with heaps of batter and deep fried and finally, the worst fried rice I’ve had in my lifetime. Do your palate and wallet a favour and don’t order from this pathetic joint. Someone please burn...

😒 where do I begin...... I had the combination omelette, special fried rice,sweet&sour pork,chicken satay sticks and spring rolls...the omelette itself was nice but the gravy was just shocking it looks like dirty dish water. Sweet and sour pork was nice 👍 what let it down was again the sauce. It wasn't thick really runny no pineapple to help sweeten it.the rice needed a little more salt. The satay sticks were good it was real chicken which helps and you can taste the 🥜 if it had a little spice to it would be amazing... Unfortunately the spring rolls are a hard pass for me 😣

Final thought.. if I could say one thing I would say, it taste the way...
