wow just had dinner at indian flavours in byford and honestly it was amazing like proper indian food with real spices not the watered down stuff you get at some places i had the rogan josh and it was full of flavour and just the right amount of spice not too hot but it warmed you up in the best way my husband had the butter chicken of course and he reckons it's the best he's ever had we also got garlic naan and it came out hot and fresh you could smell it before it even hit the table so good we brought our son cooper along too he's 22 and usually a bit picky but he loved it he got the chicken tikka and said it was bussin whatever that means i think it's a compliment haha the whole place felt really homely and cultural the music was nice and the lady who served us was super helpful and kind she explained the dishes and gave us some great recommendations you can really tell the food is made with love and tradition it's not just a meal it felt like a real experience definitely going back maybe bring the grandkids next time though they might find it a bit spicy lol anyway 10/10 from me highly recommend if you like...
Read moreWent here last long weekend Easter break on a Sunday for dinner. First off the place is nice and clean and the decor and ambiance is nice enough.
Service was courteous and friendly, however I think there was a young girl there that probably was dreading working a Sunday night shift 😂.
Food was amazing, flavours were good and authentic. Dhal makhni - I would say one of the best I’ve tried in perth so far, very savoury and umami, not as sweet as some I’ve tried elsewhere. And portions were good.
Palak paneer- was another banger of a dish, well spiced and generous amounts of paneer, flavours were spot on as well.
Lamb Karahi - was delightful, my only criticism is there could have been a little more meat pieces.
Garlic naan - good 👍
Overall a really good Indian restaurant and I would compare their flavours and standard to probably kadai king in thornlie. Will definitely be returning to dine here...
Read moreWe were welcomed with a smile, even though they were quite busy with takeaways. Seats were comfy and tables had ample room. Menu had a good range of options (including offering nuggets for hard to please kids haha!) and we were told the dishes could be as mild or as spicy as we wanted. We ordered a beef korma, the rice with peas, a veg dish and a couple of different naans. The food was amazing. The dishes were all really well balanced and the flavours just came through with every mouthful. We’ve been to a few other Indian restaurants and none of them come close. Im a ‘details’ person and usually something sticks out and annoys me - like the room temperature or a draft, or dirty cutlery etc etc. TBH, I could not find fault with the experience. We don’t eat out a lot these days, we’re time poor and it can be hard with kids, but we will definitely make a point of coming back...
