Honestly never really had an issue here until today which was soured my view of this place. Dealt with a young girl on register that was clearly new and stressed out, and I’m completely understanding of that. She did really well all things considering and I want it to be ABUNDANTLY clear my issue is not with her or her mistake. The handling of the issue by the manager however is what my issue is with. I have a Coffee Club membership and had accredited a decent amount of reward balance that I wanted to put towards my breakfast. The girl made a mistake and made it so the sale would not allow me to use the credit. She called the manager over to deal with it because she was starting to get a bit stressed out and the manager basically told me that the sale has already been sent through to their systems and that I had to pay the balance without the reward balance. I work hospitality and manage a store with a similar structure to this one, and I understand how POS systems work and it is EASILY solved by voiding the sale and reissuing it. The manager on point blank refused to solve the problem and instead tried to rush me through paying so they could put more bodies through the door. I just hope that issues like this can be addressed in the future because this place genuinely isn’t bad, and the staff are usually great. The place itself, when it comes to cleanliness and atmosphere, was better then usual, and most of the staff are friendly, nice and understanding. While ordering, the person serving me was very kind, but was getting micromanaged by someone else who said what she was doing was wrong, and did half the order themselves. After putting in my first order (drink order), and feeling like I had been overcharged after perfectly budgeting out how much I had with the cost of the items, I spoke with someone who was direct and stern about how the charged amount was correct. What had happened is there are certain items that have costs or charges that aren't shown on the menu, meaning you get charged extra when placing the order. After the second order (food order) coming out, the so-called "Kids Rainbow Pancakes" first off, weren't rainbow and had under a table spoon of rainbow 100s and 1000s. Read moreUnfortunately I was very disappointed today. I was a regular previously but haven’t been back for about 2months. Today the berry pancakes I had ordered were not nice at all. Firstly I ordered cream instead of icecream and they came out with no cream. I told the waiter I had ordered cream with it and he went back to get the cream and OMG it came back to me with icecream on it 😡. Secondly the pancake was flat and usually when I come here they are quite fluffy 🙁. NOT WORTH $15.90. Thirdly the berry’s were freezing cold. 😡 I went to the counter and explained all this and the lady said the berries are usually cold when I know from previous staff that they are warm and apologised and said they could change the icecream to cream.
