I want to take a moment to appreciate the young managers at your store, as they consistently provide fantastic service. However, I would like to formally raise a concern regarding one particular manager whose conduct has been consistently unprofessional. While I do not know her name or exact background, I previously submitted a complaint after experiencing multiple incidents of inefficiency and inappropriate behavior.
During my prior complaint, the district manager, Saaru, happened to be present, and this manager directed me to speak with her. I shared my concerns with Saaru, detailing the repeated mistakes and unapologetic attitude displayed by this manager. Since then, I have observed a pattern of behavior where, upon my arrival, she appears to intentionally leave her station at the drive-thru and delegate the task to someone else. While this does not significantly impact the service, it seems to be a deliberate attempt to avoid interaction.
However, today’s experience surpassed previous incidents in terms of unprofessionalism. I placed an order online and, upon arriving at the drive-thru, noticed an unusual swapping of roles among staff members just to retrieve my order number. When I approached the drive-thru window, this manager left mid-service while I was holding my phone to retrieve an app-related validation, which can only be processed by the cashier or window staff. After a wait, a different team member kindly assisted me and validated my order.
Subsequently, I was asked to wait in the drive-thru waiting bay for a simple breakfast order—despite there being no rush of cars at the time. I had to wait an extended period for a Brekky Wrap and nuggets, even though none of these items typically require a long preparation time. The nuggets I received were notably overcooked, indicating they had likely been sitting for hours. When a young male employee eventually brought my order, he had a cheeky smile, making it apparent that the extended wait was intentional. No other customers were asked to park, and the store was not experiencing high traffic, yet I was singled out for an excessive delay.
This pattern of behavior stands in stark contrast to the professionalism I have experienced from other managers at this store, who efficiently provide orders from the moment they are placed at the speaker to the pickup window, even during peak hours. I strongly believe that such unprofessional conduct should be addressed by management, as it not only affects customer experience but also undermines the excellent food and service Hungry Jack’s provides to the Australian community.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to...
Read moreThe moment we got our food, we had been waiting for two frozen drinks for over 5 minutes. They had also been staring at me due to the shirt I was wearing in that time and kept saying that our drinks were coming, they were just standing around talking and looking at me, and it made me a bit uncomfortable (the Shirt part was my fault I'll give them that) I believe a manager had ended up making our drinks and complimented my shirt, which was nice :). We also had ordered a coke, and two of the staff members who were on the front counter just ignored us and went to talk to a person who had brought a baby in, we again waited for like 3 minutes just to get a coke And I should add that it wasn't busy in the slightest when we came to the restaurant with only one, maybe two cars in drive thru. as someone who works in fast food, the service we had from the crew members working on front counter was genuinely uncomfortable and made me and my partner feel a bit angry on how we were treated, I've never had to write a review like this because I know what a review like this can to do hurt crew member morale but the way we were treated I couldn't help but say something But up to the guy on shift who complimented my shirt and said he got the same one, it...
Read moreThe drive-through at McDonald's typically suggests a promise of speed and convenience, yet this expectation was recently challenged during my visit. The service was delayed significantly by a preceding customer's large order, which included what seemed to be an array of at least 8 large drinks and multiple bags of food. Such orders inevitably raise questions about the efficiency of the drive-through system.
When it was my turn, my Cowboy Burger was not ready, and I was asked to pull into the waiting bay, where I observed several other cars receive and depart with their orders promptly, leaving me to wonder about the discrepancy in service times. It seems logical that there should be a protocol for directing oversized orders to park aside, as the drive-through should cater to those in need of quick service. My own schedule was nearly compromised by the wait, and while I would gladly dine in if time allowed, the drive-through should reliably serve its purpose—quick service for...
