Not a bad spot, food was good, but...... If I pay $41.40 plus scamming bank fees for a steak, you would think the sauce would come for free or they would at least mention it costs more when they ask what flavour you want!!!??? $3.45 plus scamming bank fees for a thimble of mushroom sauce is ridiculous and nothing short of robbery. I got a complete meal a couple of blocks away at another establishment only the day before for $14. Puts it into perspective!!! Why does everything have to have a scam attached to it these days!!!??? Ruined an otherwise good experience. Added after lame reply. I think anyone with a brain will see through your reply. If I was told the cost, I would NEVER pay that much on principle let alone the exorbitant price!!! I'm also well aware the banks get the fees but I use a card as it was a business meal to be claimed so don't use cash for this. Also the fact that your receipt doesn't reflect the ACTUAL cost including bank fees is deceitful & should be illegal in my books but a lot of businesses are doing that so you are not Robinson Crusoe on that rort either!! I don't like giving bad reviews & if you check my others most of mine are good but if the BS doesn't get called out it's only going to get worse & it's already...

I can see why the Brass Bookie rates highly on Google reviews! Sometimes it is when things don’t go perfectly that a customer gets to experience the true character of a hospitality team.

We went to watch the AFL semifinal, have a drink and a counter meal. Great atmosphere during the game shown on lots of TVs. However I gave critical feedback about the meal to the staff member collecting plates after we had finished. Let’s just say we were so impressed with the professionalism of the response that we returned the next day for lunch.. ordered similar meals.. it was brought out by the chef, still apologising for his team letting us down the night before.

The food really is great. The central location is very handy and everything is good value. Exceptional playlist too.

We visited on the last day of our trip to Australia.

Although we are Japanese and couldn't speak or understand much English, they were very kind and accommodating.

We were so happy when they told us they liked Japanese anime such as ONE PIECE and Haikyu!!

The food was delicious! It's one of the best meals we had in Australia.

And yet, the prices were very reasonable, so we were extremely satisfied!

All the staff members had wonderful smiles and provided excellent service!

We spent a lovely final night of our honeymoon! Thank you so much!
