Publicity via Facebook made everyone excited to know if this was a new kopitiam we were all craving for. The verdict, in my opinion with positive feedback, the food was not to my expectations as described in the video about it's authenticity. We ordered KL chee cheong fun but it tasted like something we could easily make at home, just 2 rolls of miniature cut up chee cheong fun, 3 cut in half fish balls and hardly enough sauce to cover the dish which was dry and difficult to eat. We were from KL and that's not what we use to get. Where's the tau foo, fu chok and stuffed chilly? AUD $7.00 is too much for what is served. There should be options for add ons. When asked for chilly sauce to go with it, the lady owner said that you have to ask for it to avoid wastage! C'mon we pay AUD$7.00 for hardly anything what is 2 squirts of chilly sauce? The Milo was not too sweet which was good but 3 sips and it's gone! The roti kaya and kopi set was good but too pricey for AUD$12! The in house "kueh" was too hard hard and chewy! Enak kopitiam serves a better value for money deals and the food is much tastier! I guess it's their teething period being new, so hopefully they can improve by the positive...
Read moreThis was probably my 6th or 7th visit to Aunty Alice Kopitiam, and every single time, it has been a delightful experience. The food is consistently delicious, and the warm hospitality makes it feel like a home away from home.
My first choice here was the Nasi Lemak Deluxe paired with a comforting Teh Tarik. But our table usually ends up filled with irresistible delights like curry puffs and kaya butter toast—it's hard to resist ordering more!
Today, I decided to try the Mee Siam, and it did not disappoint. Paying an extra 50 cents for sambal was well worth it, adding an extra kick to an already amazing dish.
The Aunty and the gentleman at the counter are always welcoming and attentive, making us feel like family. Their hospitality is top-notch.
We’ll definitely keep coming back, as Aunty Alice Kopitiam continues to be a place where we feel like we’re eating at home. Highly...

V comfortable and wild seating space atypical for an Asian food joint. (Reckon this is cause they share the space with a burger joint which operates later)
Food prices are really value for money, ~$7 for a main and $11 if you include drinks.
Personally we prefer food that is prepped from start but the taste is generally good. Ordered the: Chee Cheong Fun with curry sauce - worth a try though I find some of the Chee Cheong Fun a bit hard Toast and Egg - toast is done perfectly and eggs are runny and nice Mee Siam - spicy and nice Congee - a tad too peppery but nice with some fried dough fritters
Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been...
