Highly underrated as a typical buffet meal. I was blown away by the quality of the food. The quality alone hands down best some of the "better 5 star" restaurants I've eaten at. With a huge range of available dishes, from 2 types of roast meat, and at least 10 different 'hot' sides, they also had at least 8 salad bar sides. Well spread out, plenty of room to serve, clean areas, selection, and taste and quality all 5 star. Not a single gripe with anything. But wait there's more. The desert selection, wow!! Gourmet cakes, other deserts like profiteroles and little cheesecakes, to a self serve ice-cream bar, with all the extras kids and adults alike can let their imagination run wild. Although this was all anyone could want, they also have a bar menu available, with the likes of a huge parmi and chips, steak, pasta, and a kids menu to top it off. This food and drinks complex is connected to the Cannington Greyhound complex. It is very down to earth, very modern and well fitted out. It is ideal for informal get togethers of friends or family out for a night at the dogs although if you aren't interested in the dogs that's okay too. There are lots of TV screens to watch the races and plenty of betting terminals if you want to put on a bet. The food is surprisingly good and large portions seems to be the rule. So definitely value for money. Even the more expensive buffet at $45 was great value given the extensive options available including roast meats, prawns, oysters, salads, deserts and self serve ice-cream in bowls or cones. Went to the grey hound racing at Cannington on sat night.So to my surprise it was free to get in more to my surprise it was very Quiet.I have to say the buffet looked good but we wanted to take our food outside so we opted to order from the bar the food was lovely I had garlic prawns sauce was yum other family members had fish and chips other dishes.I must say they had a lot to choose from the staff were very helpful and friendly we will definitely go back and try the buffet loverly night all around.I highly recommend the bar food and I look forward to...
