Dined in on what was a quiet Tuesday night for dinner that had 4 tables at the time we walked in. We ordered simple wok dishes so it was a surprise to us when it took 45 mins to make fried rice and the pork stir fry.
When it did came, while the initially unemotional waitress was apologetic, the food that came was salty. Coupled with the fact that only one chef was working at the time, shows it’s just a joke to these guys.
To add insult to injury, other tables for their food first and what appeared to be pre-ordered first. Not sure why we were prioritised last but I hate to say perhaps it was because we were speaking English as opposed to Mandarin.
At the end of it, when we paid, despite waiting 45 mins for food while hungry, they couldn’t even compensate the price of one and I repeat one takeaway container. Maccas across the street thankfully...

I could only taste plain saltiness. I was very surprised. However the preserved century egg was well prepared and delicious. Instead I used the gravy from the egg to eat with my noodles as the soup was salty and the noodles on its own was not tasty. Overall it was a disappointing meal. The shop is quite small, so best to get takeaway. However, the staff are nice and the food is tasty. Hunan style is known for being heavy on seasoning and oil, and also notorious for being spicy, so you've been warned.
The braised beef dish is a must-try! A lot of the menu include things you wouldn't find elsewhere, such as intestines and offal and ears. But if you're from Asia, it's normal enough.
