We came to your restaurant today at 11:30 am for an early lunch. We were drawn to the relaxed atmosphere and since it was a venue we haven't experienced before , decided to try it out.
We had no prior bookings. There was a sign post with the instructions "Please find a table and order at the bar" . We therefore proceeded to the table at the far right corner , just near to the big screen with couple of low sofas.
Having made ourselves comfortable. We were in the process of deciding on the menu when one of the waitresses came around and asked if we could move to the table behind as this one was being set-up for face painting and that a sign card was being printed. She enqiured if we were staying past 1:30 pm as the table behind us had a reservation from 1:30 pm .
Since the time was 11:50 am , it gave us plenty of time to have a relaxed lunch and we agreed and moved to the table behind.
The waitress came around at 01:15 pm slammed a piece of paper on the table , just as I turned and said "We are Leaving".
She made no eye contact or acknowledged what was said and proceeded to a far off table.
Now this being a father's day , I do understand the restaurant is busy and may be working at full capacity and may be short on staff . That is all understandable and valid scenarios.
But being a restaurant , I believe you are trained to handle all situations . From a customer's point of view , we come into your space to experience and taste what is on offer.
I would really appreciate it, if you could talk to this lady regarding the process of good table manners and customer service. After all we were not dining at her place, that she should resort to such rude behaviour. We were polite and paid for our food and drinks and expected a good time. This reminds me to give you a brief description , she was wearing a black office top which had thin silver strips on it with black pants and I was left wondering if she was one of the manager's.
One another thing, i found hair in my sauce , right at the end , when I finishing my burger sandwich. I had initially put this in writing , using the online form but got no response from the restaurant.
I wouldn't be recommending this place to anyone. There are other better restaurants in carousel offering top service and good...
Read moreAttended tonight for a nice night thinking we were attending a family friendly restaurant. However a staff member by the name of Dani certainly doesn’t belong in hospitality nor will give your establishment a good reputation. With a foul mouth she stated loudly in an aggressive tone where the f#*k is the table when carrying drinks whilst standing right next our table and my young daughter! When I stated excuse me there are kids here as a reminder to watch her language instead of a so sorry, we got an extremely rude response with attitude and an eye roll followed by a sarcastic “ok” like she couldn’t careless then walked off. She continued to walk past our table later with disgruntled glances towards us as she did. Obviously this left a very bad impression with us all and spoilt what should have been a nice night, we told another staff member and asked for the manager but no one came out to our table. From observation she appeared to be the one running the floor. The food I will note was nice we were happy with our meals and the staff who served our meals to the table were polite. However you have the wrong person running your service team and leading your younger employees this is certainly not the example you should want, be concerned, as she delivers very bad service, does not have a nice demeanour nor is welcoming or professional at all to your clientele. This behaviour will leave a bad reputation for repeat business if that’s the service received. We were also not greeted on arrival, we waited and no one approached which we found strange so we ended up queuing at the bar to enquire about our reservation which also seemed a little off and not welcoming. Sadly not the night we expected and left us quite angry at the lack of...
Read moreWent there with my mum who is 83yrs old, and my 2 grandaughters aged 8 & 6 today 2nd sept 2022 for a birthday lunch. The young girls had the mini burger with chips $12 each, my mum & myself ordered the fish & chips with salad at $24 each and 2 corona beers at $10 each totalling of $93??? My mum's salad and mine was old, slimey wiltered badly, i think i had 2 good leaves out of the lot and my mum's was half bad & the chips were not crisp, but burnt and soggy. Even my granddaughters left all their chips. The fish was nice, but in the mean time there was this girl maybe in her 30's, talking loud laughing, not acting professional and when we went to leave i said to a young fella that our salad isn't fresh, its slimey🤮, wiltered and old, you need to tell the cook to make sure they serve it fresh and to check properly, he went to the kitchen bay and then the larger girl that was loud ask him whats going on and she turned her back to us and said sarcastically oh it's not fresh to the cook, the cook looked over at me and i said that's right it's old and slimey, she just smirked at me and the loud girl dressed all in black came over and said it's most probably the dressing and i said I Don't think so, go have a good look, they were not interested at all & Not even an apology or ri be reimbursed for part of the meal, why are they still operating like pig's, when I've read alot of bad reviews of raw food, their attitude towards customers is Disgusting, and i saw a male cook handling someone's chips with his bare hands 🤢 no gloves as he had just come from the toilets 🤔 Can you imagine if my 83yr old mum got sick 🙄, never in my life had i experienced such arrogance from an eating establishment..Staff you could have handled the problem...
