Big Jim's Pizza — Restaurant in Castlemaine

Just picked up my cold pizzas and am one pizza short. Ive been trying to order the lamb lovers for a month now (get pizza once a week). Lamb lovers being my favourite its always what i ask for. Every week im told sorry theres no lamb. Place my order tonight and for the first time in ages when i asked for a lamb the voice on the other end of the phone said yep no worries. Rejoice!! I am finally able to get my favourite pizza. I go to pick it up and there is one short of the pizzas i orders. When i ask whats missing of course its lamb lovers. Because "we dont have any at the moment". Thats all well and good but wouldnt it have been a good idea to say something when im ordering on the phone so i can order something else? Was not able to sit in the store for another 25 minutes so im going home...

I'd go a 3.5 for the pizza and service was efficient and friendly. 2 family pizzas for $42. Called to find out but would be great if the business fb page had an up to date menu showing specials. Vegetarian was very light on topping and a bit bland. for the price, being identical to the variety of meat options, i didn't feel it was good value. Marinara was great and lots of flavour. First visit to Big Jim’s, and wasn’t at all disappointed! Great tasty pizzas for a small price. Quality Price; doesn’t get better than that!
