I have to say, the coffee at Moose Cafe might just be the sweetest I've ever tasted! From the moment I saw the menu, I knew I was in for a treat. I decided to try the Swedish Meatballs, and let me tell you, it was a fantastic choice. My daughter and I shared this dish, and it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a breakfast item for myself, and it was equally satisfying. Moose Cafe was the perfect spot to catch up with my friend visiting from Indonesia before he headed to the airport. It provided a quiet and comfortable atmosphere for us to chat. The location might not be immediately obvious, but if you follow Google Maps, you'll find it easily. Moose Claremont is such a vibe ☕✨ Bright, airy, and welcoming — it's the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. I stopped by randomly, but now it's one of my favourite local cafés.

The coffee? Delicious and smooth. The food? Fresh, flavourful, and reasonably priced. There's a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for any weather. And yes — the Swedish pick & mix station is such a fun nostalgic touch 🍬

Oh — and can we talk about the beautiful barista? 😍 That coffee comes with a side of charm.

Having lunch at a beautiful cafe in Claremont. Swedish style food. Beautiful ingredients handled well.

It meets with The Small Person’s estimation because she got the O’Boy Hot Chocolate to accompany her scrambled eggs on toast. SO had the Pyttipanna (Swedish meat and potato hash) and I had the Swedish Meatballs with Mash, Gravy and Lingonberry Jam. To say that it is better than IKEA’s offering is a woeful underestimation of how good they were.

He says everything (except the Lingonberry Jam) is made fresh on site.
