Choi's Chicken — Restaurant in Coconut Grove

I had a very nice experience ordering Choi's Chicken from Ubereats for lunch. The first thing I noticed was the person who prepared the order wrote a thoughtful note on the Ubereats bag and even wrote out my name in Korean! I ordered the Chicken Burger, Spicy Seasoned Chips and a side of cheese sauce. Even though it took 20 minutes for Ubereats to deliver my order, the Chicken in the burger was still very crunchy, hot and juicy, the bun is soft and the salad in the burger was very fresh, the pickle ranch sauce was delicious, and you will definitely need a napkin on hand as they don't go cheap on the sauce! The Spicy Seasoned fries are very crunchy and addicting, and cheese sauce was so yummy, like a craft cheese sauce for dipping your chips into~ For the value you will get your money's worth as the serving sizes are very big. I hope they stay open a bit longer at night as they become more popular, Ubereats cuts off delivery times 30 minutes before store-close, and I know I will now have cravings for Choi's Chicken late at night. I will 100% order again and try the Korean Fried...

That was a religious experience, and I'm an atheist. I've had people telling me to try this over and over, but the stupidly expensive uber markups have stopped me.

To all those people out there passing on this because of the high delivery prices, I paid 40 bucks which is a dumb amount of money but here I am leaving this review. Get in your car and make the trip to avoid the markup, I guarantee its worth it, gonna take my wife as an excuse to eat again.

I had the original wingettes and drumettes. I'm a big wicked wings fan from KFC, gotta say even when those wicked wings are fresh and on point they do NOT compare to what I had tonight. Reviews are accurate, get it while you can.

The only criticism I have at all, is that the batter is so yummy and flavour full already that the flake salt that was sprinkled ended up being a bit too much, looks great and the wings being all neatly organised and pretty with the green onions feels fancy :) don't need the flake salt...

If you’re craving Korean fried chicken in Darwin, Choi’s Chicken is an absolute gem! This isn’t a big chain like Kyochon or BHC—it’s a family-owned restaurant, and honestly, their food is just as good, if not better! Their fried chicken is perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, and don’t even get me started on their kimbap—it’s seriously addictive!

The staff (who I believe are all family members!) are super warm and welcoming. You can feel the love and care in both the food and the service. I celebrated my birthday here with friends and colleagues, and we had an amazing time. Thank you to the team for the birthday voucher and for making the night so special.

Highly recommend this place for authentic Korean comfort food, great vibes, and genuinely kind people. Can’t wait...
