Big shout to the hard-working and amazing team at Oliver's.......These guy's are super friendly and very courteous..... Absolutely loved their food....(Visited in April this year)

If you feel like having Indian food, you can't be faulted here, right on money.... extremely reasonable pricing Let's get to the business.

On a sweltering hot tour de city (epic) we decided to cool our heels in our room and straight up decided to try this place out which we noticed day before.

Reached there just before 8pm and order following :

Mango Lassi : Hitting the spot from first sip, it's heavenly in hot weather.

Butter Chicken with Rice : Very yummy is the only description.... that's it.....full stop 🛑

Chicken Korma with Rice (Pic Uploaded) and: I requested the order taker to make it spicy and they asked the level and I mentioned that I have a good spice handling capacity and boy it was fun.... seriously it was lip smacking delish.....Ordered a chilled beer and that made it fire n ice combo so smooth.

Best part is they served popadum with their meals and it evens out the texture play to another level.

🍽️ Disappointing Dining Experience Despite an Intriguing Name

This restaurant, intriguingly named and featuring a menu centered around Indian cuisine, sadly didn’t live up to expectations. (No Italian food here.. 😊)The steak arrived overcooked and lacking any sauce, while other dishes—like the butter chicken and HSP—fell flat in flavor and freshness. The naan appeared to be store-bought, which detracted from authenticity, and although the chips were decent and the mango lassi was passable, overall the meal felt subpar. It gives the impression of relying heavily on pre-packaged ingredients. Regrettably, it’s not a spot I’d recommend for a satisfying or genuine...

You just wouldn’t expect to get food of this quality in a servo tucked halfway up the mainstreet of Coober Pedy but the food is excellent, perfectly cooked steak (husband) and divine curry (me) and wines you just can’t get in most outback places. What’s the catch? The food is extremely modestly priced. Much less than other similar places. So what’s the catch? Not the warm caring and thoughtful service. We couldn’t find a catch except it was quiet. Both off season and late - we arrived after 8 pm. But we got service anyway! Definitely check it out and we will come back next time we travel south.
