Dean and ruin own and run cooma Thai, ruin of course is a Thai national and the food is authentic Thai food. I was so excited about the meal that I forgot to take a before photo. I had chilli and Basil with duck complimented with steamed rice. The duck was the perfect size, moist and left a warm but not overpowering chilli taste in your mouth. The rice was cooked to perfection and easily eaten with chopsticks. The venue is refreshingly traditional with pictures if Thailand giving a local atmosphere and the price range is modest and doesn't reflect the high traditional flavour and quality of the food. Overall I give Cooma Thai a five out of five. One of my new destinations to dine out in Cooma. Yes they do lunch and...

Fast and delicious. Stopped for the dinner break on the bus trip, needed somewhere quick and handy to get a meal. This was the perfect spot! I mentioned I was short of time and asked, what do you suggest that is quick.

Ended up ordering the fried rice with tofu, and a pink milk (nom yen I believe) It arrived very fast (less than 10 minutes) , even though I could see there were quite a few people inside.

Everything was delicious! The rice was perfect, slightly sticky yet tender. The portion was excellent, and the ingredients were tasty.

The milk drink was also delicious, and a good size as well.

Would definitely reccommend, whether it's for a take away quickly or a...

I had takeaways for two nights from here during my stay in Cooma. Both meals were nice. Pad Thai with pork was not as oily as the ones I tried before. Yellow Banana Curry was my new experience. Usually, I don't order Curry because I'm not so keen on spicy food, but I gave it a go this time to try new thing. AND it was great! Curry was still a little too spicy for me but banana mildened it. I enjoyed it. I talked to the chef from Thailand and she was very friendly. So as other staff. Services were...

Decent Thai upstairs. Seemed to be short staffed with 2 in kitchen and 1 taking out food and manning cash register on a Monday night, but we came early enough so weren't affected. Had exotic seafood which was in tasty coconut curry with good sized prawns. Menu indicated egg but didn't see any.
