I never really like to leave reviews, as I’ve worked in retail for several years and I know there are multiple factors that cause unfortunate situations for both customers & workers, however I will now not be returning as a customer to this branch.
The greeting that my brother and I received as we walked in was rolled eyes from an older lady. I dismissed this as just having a bad and busy day. After giving her time to prepare herself to serve us (she had taken her time in getting over to us), I let her know the sub I was after (a Vege Delite). She asked if I wanted avocado on it, and I politely declined.
After pulling my sub out of the toaster, she went to put avocado on it, to which I said, ‘Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t want avocado on it.’ She proceeded to say, ‘Uh, that’s what a Vege Delite is?’ in a very annoyed tone.
Thankfully, the man, who I assume was a manager, spoke up and told her that if I didn’t want avocado, I didn’t have to have it.
She was not happy at all interacting with us, although we were nothing but nice. I get that people have bad days - I experience that as well where I work, but I always try my hardest to not take it out on any customers.
Except for the lovely man who spoke up on my behalf, I do believe all of your staff need to be re-trained. No one is happy, the place is looking more and more run-down. I’d love to see some changes....
Read moreI'm not one to write a review on any restaurant, but today was just the last straw! I am a delivery driver and quite often have to pick up from subway the lakes. Every time I go in the shop, they are not happy to acknowledge that I'm there waiting for an order. Delivery drivers are always put last on the list to get the orders which is not good for the drivers and the restaurant. Today they knew I was there to pick up an order and there was no one in the shop after she had just made another order for a delivery driver she should of gone straight onto my one. Instead other staff came out as a few other people came in and she just mumbled under her breath that she was not going to do the order or something. All the other staff didn't start to make it and after a while of waiting had to ask one of the staff if my I rder was ready. They said no and they had not even started making it! I was so angry that I just left the store and cancelled the orders that I had driven a while to pick up. The staff are miserable and not friendly. Management need to go in and check up on this store. I will be cancelling and future order that come in for this store as the long wait times are costing us all money...

What great customer service! ALL the staff there need re training, I have been many times before but I'll be honest the service has been just as bad but it's the closest subway to home so I always hope they will get better but they don't! Today was shocking and I will DEFINITELY not be going back! the girl that served me was rude and got my meat choice wrong even though I told her twice it was turkey but got chicken, so then my wrap had to be re made. My wrap was also stale and broke apart when I went to go eat it. Plus who ever the girl that was there not in uniform arguing with a food delivery guy because of a proper delivery bag he didn't have.. You need to learn how to deal with customers in a nicer manner and especially in front of other customers, you make your store look so unprofessional. I feel sorry for who ever the owners are of this store. You need to get staff who actually want to be there and treat paying customers the way they...
