One star is too much. This boost store has turned me away Boost juices FOREVER. I haven't received the same poor service or disrespect in years and will not be going back. Please read below for full details...
On a hot summers day not too long ago, I ordered an 'Original' sized mango magic to share with my two toddlers. After a long queue to place the order, all was OK as we patiently waited for the smoothie among a long line of other customers. When I noticed that the waitress was pouring my drink I approached her and asked if she could please pour the original size into two smaller cups for each of my kids. She stopped filling the original at about 2/3 full, and then proceeded to split the 2/3 of the original sized smoothie into two smaller cups. This was a nice gesture. However, when I quizzed her on the remaining mixture in the blender and why the Original cup was never filled up, she said that it was policy not to "give out extra" and that I "paid for an Original so all I would get was an Original".
Unfortunately, however, i did NOT get an Original, I only received 2/3 of this split between 2 other cups. I did NOT "get what I paid for". What's worse is that there was a significant amount of waste product which simply goes to the bin. But instead of honoring the transaction and doing the decent thing to at least fill up the Original cup, she proceeded to discard the remaining mixture and muttered under her breath to "###! off".
Given there were at least another 20 customers waiting for their juices I did not push the issue, but took my 2/3 of a boost juice and left.
I've been a boost juice customer for years. My kids love it and I treat them every weekend. But no more. I googled some of the recipes, and you can do an even better, healthier job at home for only a fraction of the price. Vanilla yoghurt, ice, fruit and juice - its that simple!
