Asked for a flat white and got a cappuccino without the chocolate sprinkle. Place wasn’t busy. The staff are welcoming and friendly and are happy to serve you so a great plus. Unfortunately it just filled the theme of most Canberran cafes, they can’t do a flat white. Coffee tastes average and I would go up for a replacement but I don’t want to bother them again. 1 stars for food because I only grabbed a coffee, the coffee was bitter and technically it was the incorrect item. 5 stars for service because staff are friendly. 5 stars for atmosphere, this was a hard one because it’s in the middle of a shopping centre so I based it on the styling of the store. However they do make an effort with nice lighting, plants and gentle music. I ordered takeaway and when I asked about cutlery was directed to take it from a container on the counter from which every single customer before me had also dipped their hands and taken wooden cutlery. When I pointed out that this practice was unhygienic, especially in the age of COVID, I was informed that it was 'company policy'. Really? I responded that if this was 'company policy' it was unacceptable. What was more irritatingly frustrating though was her attitude because it was obvious she could not care less about I was saying to her or took my feedback on board. Bought a large Flat white, had asked to make sure the sugar is stir since there are time when I buy the coffee, it hasn't been so I don't taste the sugar until I get closer to the bottom.

The coffee taste good but it wasn't hot, it was Warm. It had taken me under a minute to drink the coffee. Should have taken it back and asked for a hot one but felt if I did then they wouldn't have have stir the sugar.

I noticed that he had someone waiting for him to chat to him, like a friend. This was last Thursday.

I pay $5.80 for a large Coffee and it's not cheap. If it was, I would be coming more often.
