Fiery Review of "Brew n Brew" at London Circuit.
The city's energy is palpable, and as the sunlight weaves its golden threads between the skyscrapers, I feel a mix of excitement and hunger. My steps quicken, driven by a craving for a hearty breakfast. "Brew n Brew" stands before me, a place I've tried before, its "tradie breakfast" sign beckoning me with memories of past visits.
Back at 'Brew n Brew', I'm filled with anticipation. Memories of past visits flood back, and I'm hoping today's breakfast will be the highlight of my day. But, to my dismay, it's anything but.
As I approach the counter, the familiar face of the cashier greets me. The cafe's warm ambiance and the comforting aroma of coffee fill me with hope. But deep down, a nagging feeling tells me there might be a hiccup today.
Every time I've been here, I've been clear - I crave a vegetarian option. Yet, they serve me with salami. It's like a slap in the face, and I can't help but wonder if they're mocking me.
From where I sit, I can see the cook. His movements are swift, but there's a hint of reluctance, almost as if he's begrudging every special request. The sound of sizzling pans fills the air, but it's overshadowed by my growing sense of disappointment.
I thought, 'Maybe today will be different'. All I wanted was a simple swap - meat out, veggie patty in. But this cook, with his evident disdain, makes me feel like I'm asking for the moon.
When my burger arrives, I'm filled with cautious optimism. But one bite in, and my heart sinks.
I pull apart the burger, searching for the veggie goodness I was promised. Instead, I find a lonely fried egg and an overly greasy hashbrown. It's a letdown, and I can't shake off the feeling of being shortchanged."
My emotions bubble over, a mix of frustration and disbelief.
The baristas here? Absolute stars. The cashier? She's wonderful. But this cook? He's the thorn in an otherwise beautiful rose. His attitude makes me feel like an unwelcome guest, and I can't fathom why.
With a heavy heart, I leave "Brew n Brew", the door's chime echoing my sentiments.
Brew n Brew, you're a gem with a single flaw. Sort out that kitchen, or you risk becoming just another forgotten cafe in this...

I live around the corner and started getting my breakfast here recently on my way to CIT.
There coffee is bloody brilliant and the food is pretty good too. I usually go with the breakie wrap. Plus there staff is what really makes this joint. No matter how smashed they are in the morning, they are super fast and I still get "enjoy your day bud" as I'm collecting my coffee.
Thank you Brew...
Read moreWorst breakfast I've ever spent money on. Toast must have been days old stale as it was unedible as it was hard as rock. When mentioned to the chef he was rude and said well it's toasted. Eggs were over cooked with solid yolks, even my mushroom side was burnt to the point the mushrooms were like dehydrated. Ordered 3 different meals between us and could hardly eat a thing from either of them. The place is nice but food and...
