Clover Dining — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

Summary - Fantastic Service. Totally let down by the food and drink we ordered.

I appreciate people who dare to experiment and I am very open to new experiences. This for me however, was not what I expected from a restaurant that not only has only 5-star ratings online, but also what seems to be a pretty well put together set menu.

I apologise for being brutally honest, but I won't be going back or recommending Clover Dining to anybody unless the quality of food changes significantly at this establishment.

Entree One - 3/5 - I don't think this worked Entree Two - 5/5 - Star of the night - cooked to perfection Main One - 1/5 - Spaghetti was way too salty; Drink - (same image as spaghetti) - this was $24 for a sugary concoction that again, completely missed the mark for me. Main Two - 0/5 - $48 for this has got to be a joke. No sear on the fish. Basically broiled fish drowned in foam and like most of the dishes, didn't work together.

Service was amazing! The staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a pity the food didn't meet our expectations. In the end, we left disappointed, wishing we'd gone to some other less-adventurous...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely phenomenal, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable—attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. They made our kids feel so special, giving them extra attention and ensuring they were comfortable and happy throughout the meal. It’s rare to find a place that balances a high-quality dining experience with such a family-friendly approach.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with a warm and inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home. To top it all off, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the level of service and quality provided.

We can’t recommend this gem of a restaurant enough—whether you’re dining as a couple, with friends, or bringing the whole family, this is a spot not...

We ordered a la carte, Foccacia Burrata with miso crisp Yuzu Eggplant Squid ink pasta a la Vongole Toothfish Pistachio ice cream and tiramisu

It's hard to fault any of the dish, man its like meal after meal the flavours work perfectly 🤤🤤 my absolute fav is the squid ink pasta, and the toothfish..

The pasta is al dente, yet savoury and has a rich seafood taste, slightly spicy but not overpowering. The cook on the toothfish was perfect, and the sauce that came with it, wow just wow, never had that flavour profile before 👀✨
