Updated review as reply to the owner's response:

I wasted 43.61/- Never again to this shop.

Since I couldn't find an option to reply directly to the owner's response, I’m editing my original review to provide more context (as I want my review and my response useful to the public instead of replying to the number shared by the owner)

Firstly, I discovered this restaurant through an online search. Before placing my order, I thoroughly discussed my options with your staff — specifically the lady with eyeglasses, who I believe was either the receptionist or a waitress. Based on her recommendations, I ordered the Vegetable Biryani and Mutter Paneer. I initially asked for a Lemon & Mint drink, but was informed it wasn’t available, so I opted for an orange juice instead — which turned out to be a packaged juice served in a glass, as I mentioned earlier.

While I was having my meal, the same staff member kindly approached my table to check how the food was. At that point, I shared that the basmati rice (in vegetable Biryani) felt undercooked, with a texture that seemed around 90% done, still slightly hard to chew. She offered an explanation. When I paid the bill, she asked me to leave a review — which prompted me to do so.

As seen in the photos I shared, a portion of the meal was left uneaten. It was an incomplete dinner, and hence my remark: “I wasted $43.61 – never again to this shop.”

I travel extensively across Australia for work and make it a point to review the restaurants I visit — yours was one of them. My reviews in Google have 2.2million views and I give...

The above rating does not mean it's perfect, but in my ladder of expectations, this was excellent. We've been there for 2 nights one after another, and we'd come again. You know how a good indian is good? It's because indian people eat there. Well, on our first night there it was only Indians dining there except us. On the second night there were more non-indians but we already knew what to expect. I suggest you ask for the food not to be spicy-hot at all - this is because for someone who is not used to having hot food it just takes over and you then find yourself trying to stay calm while your mouth is burning and your head goes red.. totally unnecessary especially when the food is so flavoursome. Price was reasonable for us, Canberra can be pricy for good but this place was ok for our price range. Pay attention to the Indian music playing at the background. Do not expect 5 start service - it's not that type of place, rather it's a great place to have excellent authentic indian food, try new tastes and enjoy a lovely night. A special plus was for the waiters speaking English pretty good - that's unusual for authentic restaurants but here they were clear about what dish has in it and you know what to expect. The place also seem to be very busy for takeaways - so could take some time for you to wait but it's an excellent...

Curry Twist Indian Cuisine

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Curry Twist Indian Cuisine, and the experience left me thoroughly impressed. Here's my take on their delicious offerings:

Chicken Dum Biryani: The Chicken Dum Biryani at Curry Twist was exceptional. Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked and infused with aromatic spices. The tender chicken pieces were well-marinated and added a delightful flavor to the dish. The biryani had just the right balance of spices and was served piping hot, ensuring a satisfying meal.

Garlic Naan: The Garlic Naan was another highlight of the meal. It was soft, fluffy, and generously topped with fresh garlic and herbs. The naan had a wonderful crispiness on the edges, which paired wonderfully with the richness of the curry dishes we ordered. It was evident that the naan was freshly made, as it retained its warmth and texture throughout the meal.

Overall Experience: Beyond the specific dishes, the overall dining experience at Curry Twist was excellent. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with attentive service that added to the enjoyment of the meal. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, each prepared with care and...

The food had some positives and negatives. I found out about a 4 person deal, but when I arrived they said it was only for takeaway orders. I feel this is deceptive because this wasn't stated online beforehand. Anyway, I was hungry so we ordered anyway. The Rogan Josh wasn't flavourful and the Vindaloo was tangy, maybe had too much lemon or tomato. The chicken tikka didn't seem fully cooked, it was chewy. The garlic naan didn't have a strong taste of garlic or butter as it should be (tasted more like plain naan). The chutneys were tasty and I still enjoyed the Vindaloo and Chicken Tikkas. The toilet looked bad but still hygienic. The toilet paper wasn't on the role, but it was nearby. Our first table had a wonky/shaky table and chair, and then we moved to a better table.

Curry Twist is a highly acclaimed Indian restaurant in Canberra. I have dined there on several occasions, including utilizing their takeaway service. Recently, we celebrated a baby shower there, hosting a large gathering. The food was exceptional, universally praised by all attendees. The dishes were freshly prepared, served promptly, and the staffing levels ensured efficient service. Chef Micky and the entire team provided outstanding support. I wholeheartedly recommend Curry Twist for event catering; their pricing is also very competitive.
