The Best Nepali Restaurant in Canberra!
OMG! This is hands down the best Nepali restaurant in Canberra. I donāt even have the words to fully describe how amazing it is. All I can say is, Iāve been coming here since last year, and they have been incredibly consistent with the taste and quality of their food every single time.
If youāre craving authentic Nepali flavors, especially Newari cuisine, this is the go-to spot for everyone. The ambiance, the hospitality, and most importantly, the food will transport you straight to Nepal.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām sorry to say but worst Nepali food Iāve ever had. We ordered 3 items and it took us 40-45 min just to get entree. I understand you canāt bring all food that quick but if someone ordered an entree(chau chau sadeko), I donāt think it should take 40mins. And it was the worst Iāve ever had. Very dry. I donāt know if itās your oil or something but your Chau Chau sadeko and buff chowmin both had a very bad smell and taste. On your khaja set, except buff choila, everything was upsetting. In aloo tama, there was no sign of tamaa, Aaloo achar was literally only boiled potatoes with no flavour whatsoever. And instead of bara, it was tiny donuts?? Buff choila was good tho. You really need to work on your quality of the food for the pricing you have. Looks good but doesnāt taste good at all. Very disappointing, overpriced for such a poor quality Food and a disgrace to Newari name...

Firstly, I highly recommend trying their Khaja Set. It was a culinary delight that showcased the essence of Newari cuisine. Each item was prepared with precision, boasting rich flavors and incredible textures. It was a true feast for the senses!
Another highlight of my meal was the Yamari. These sweet, steamed dumplings were a delightful treat. The outer shell was soft and slightly chewy, while the sweet filling inside was heavenly. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine.
I must also mention that the pricing was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. The portions were generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied...
