Rosemary by EightyTwenty the cafe | Kingston Cafe — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

I had high hopes for this cafe having been to one in Barton, and I was so disappointed in the service. My commentary is purely on the service. Very disappointing. It took almost 40 minutes for one of meals to turn up, and about 45 minutes for our coffees . When you see see other tables that arrive after us have their meals turn up is just unacceptable, especially when you’re waiting on an açai bowl, and someone gets their eggs before you. When I mention I was still waiting for the açai bowl, I was told quite abruptly it’s coming. It’s such a shame, because genuinely the food is delicious, the service was 0/5. Will not be back.

We were looking for venue that offered gluten and dairy free food to hold our mother's 'Celebration of Life' event after her funeral. Rosemary by EightyTwenty was perfect! We had just over 30 people and I was able to organise in advance for a variety of delicious, fresh dishes to share, all gf and df and the whole event was very reasonably priced. Everyone commented on how lovely the food, service and venue was. We were also able to bring our own alcohol to have a toast to our beautiful mother. Organising the event with Patricia was easy and efficient, especially considering the difficult time it was for us recently losing our mother at Christmas time. Ordered the Brekky Burger for $22 which included lots of yummy toppings on the menu. It came out with only the eggs and meat, no other toppings. When I asked them about this they added 2 of the missing toppings I paid for but still forgot the avocado, I was too hungry to complain again. There was also a $15 Bacon and Egg roll which has no extra toppings, so I felt kind of ripped off paying so much extra to not get what I paid for.
