First time going there yesterday and honestly probably the last. we decided to sit outside since it was very loud inside with the music and television when we went outside the tables still had crumbs on them and rims where the last person's drinks sat but it wasn't busy, it was just my partner and I outside so there was so excuse not to clean the table we ordered a chocolate milkshake (which was beautiful) but the lady came out and slammed it on our table causing the sprinkles to go everywhere, she didn't apologise or anything she just walked away leaving us to clean up. there was only one lady working there and she was very busy and seemed very stressed, recommend getting more than one person working a night she couldn't take it and I felt sorry for her the burgers weren't very nice which was a disappointment, the meat was very dry and overall it was just very oil and made my partner and I felt very sluggish after eating. We couldn't even get through half and my partner eats everything. Overall the 2 stars are for the waffle fries and the shake, wouldn't go back here and wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I feel really bad saying this because I was very excited after all the great reviews...

The tacos and chips here are incredibly tasty, and the service was great. Unfortunately, I’ve had mild food poisoning symptoms two out of the three times I’ve eaten here (takeaway each time). I can’t say for certain this was the cause, but the timing was consistent enough that I felt it was worth mentioning. It’s a real shame, because the food is genuinely delicious! 😭 I would’ve loved to become a regular.

Edit: I noticed the owner’s reply has been updated - I really appreciate the more thoughtful tone (For transparency, I’ve attached a screenshot of the original response). Just to gently clarify, I don’t have any issues with spice or lactose, so the original response did feel dismissive. I genuinely enjoyed the food and simply wanted to raise a potential concern based on a consistent experience. I hope this is received in the constructive spirit it was intended, and I wish the owner all the best with...

A funky looking Mexican eatery from the outside, unfortunately the inside looks tired and dated. I ordered 2 of the southwest chicken tacos and 2 Birria tacos, while the southwest tacos were fine enough the Birria tacos were a huge disappointment. When I think of Birria I expect crispy tacos filled with meat and oozing with cheese and a dipping broth on the side, the tacos presented looked like a run of the mill home taco kit job and didn’t meet my expectations. The crispy chicken wings were nice and crispy, however the lime aioli was an off putting shade of electric green and lacked any hint of lime at all. I think this could be a great place with a bit of a decor upgrade to give it more ambience and more of a focus on food quality, but for $45 for 4 tacos and 6 chicken wings, I don’t think I’ll hurry back. The service was pleasant and the food...

We visited Taco Boi on 01/06 for their Birria Ramen special, and it was an unforgettable experience. The broth was rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful—chef’s kiss. It felt like the chef had shadowed an abuelita (grandmother) in Mexico for months, just like Brittany Murphy’s character in The Ramen Girl, absorbing all the soul, tradition, and heart that goes into a truly meaningful bowl of birria and made it their own by fusing it with ramen. The noodle-to-broth ratio was spot on, and every bite brought warmth and nostalgia. It instantly transported me to my grandma’s kitchen, where she would make birria for our family's most special celebrations. You could taste the love in every spoonful—the kind of dish that feels both rare and deeply familiar. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a memory, beautifully reimagined. Bravo, Taco Boi.

I have eaten at taco boi twice and each time was fine, that’s not my issue- It is literally illegal to do what you so proudly do, you are REQUIRED to offer free water as you are a licensed premises. Personally attacking patrons who bring this to your attention shows a total lack of humility not to mention a disregard for the law. Editing your responses on here after they are brought to light is an example of how you are happy to manipulate any situation to show you in a better light. You need to have a long hard think about if you are the best person to be the forefront of this business rather than the culinary expert…
